This class helped me achieve all my goals. We didn't develop products to practice but I got a lot of useful skills I can thank this class for and say, that in a different way, it helped me achieve these goals. Touching base with each one, professor Paul created a process where the Lean Startup method and the Design Thinking was studied step-by-step. The remarkable point here is that we had the opportunity to develop each topic correctly; understanding what does it signifies and why is essential in the process. On the other hand, the assignments were produced in a way that the student had the opportunity to select how he/she needed the homework to be done; in a video or a written paper. As I am a more creative and visual person I love that from this class. I had the chance to practice my Graphic Design skills designing presentation templates. Another thing it was helpful to me is that those presentations needed to be reported. As English is my second language, preparing for this acts and narrating them encouraged me to sharpen my narrating abilities. For my second goal, we used our own business ideas to expand our research according to the Lean Startup method and the design thinking process. This stimulated me to combine new analysis strategies used by these two methods and apply them to my own product design. Thanks, Paul for making this class a useful tool to understand the Development of a helpful product for our clients and, make us ask the right questions to ourselves while we develop our new companies.
