being in the spotlight was not something rory had ever enjoyed. as a kid, people his age only ever paid attention to him when it was to bully him so the association between attention and bullying had been forged in his mind from a young age. he’d much prefer to be playing wallflower somewhere, observing the party with a drink that was basically straight whatever alcohol he grabbed first but he’s decidedly had a little too much to drink and even the little bit of coke he had done was enough to tip him completely over the edge of wasted. finding an empty couch in the living room was just dumb luck and he tries not to think too hard about why it’s vacated when the house is so crowded. 

it’s right in the middle of everything but people tend to go unnoticed at a party. that’s what he’s hoping for anyway. just let him come down enough that he can stand without needing the wall for support; but he has another drink in hand, one he’s not sure what exactly is in it, and sobering up at all doesn’t seem to be happening anytime soon. / @eulohani

the state of funky fun house pre fire, i do actually personally remember a lot of things being taped up ! even in the newer section of the soft play had tape on punching bags and the steps LOL
