okay call me cringe whatever but the phrase “its not a phase mom” is so real

i know its been made a cringe thing that 12 year olds scream to their parents and slam the door and blast welcome to my life but it has meaning!!

as someone who went through their ‘emo’ phase (culture, style, clothing, music etc), i know its not all i listen to anymore, but any mcr/p!atd/fob/ptv/sws/and others song will always make me smile

listening to old pop punk (etc) songs i havent listened to for about two years is so fun. cus its like yes i know all the lyrics and i cant believe i almost forgot about all those amazing songs!

and its such a good genre with lyrics, concepts and overall vibes.

so yes you can leave your emo phase, but your emo phase will never leave you
