Pre-Holiday Card Swap

Do you have leftover, unused holiday cards and envelopes? Would you like to swap them for some new cards to send out this year? Every year I have at least 2 boxes of half used holiday cards left over. I usually don’t like to continue using them because I don’t remember which cards I sent out to who the previous year. So I buy some new ones and then accumulate even more boxes of unused cards. I have a feeling I’m not the only one that does this. 

So, here’s my idea:  If you have at least 5 nice quality holiday cards/envelopes and want to get some new ones without purchasing them, this swap may be a fun and affordable answer. Let’s see how this goes:

Fill out sign up form by November 10th

Matches will be sent out on November 11th

Mail your partner 5 unused cards AND envelopes by November 18th

Please do not send your partner personalized holiday cards (i.e. no cards with printed names or family photos) 

Cards should be newer (you purchased them within the last 5 years).

Don’t go out and buy any new cards! These are nice quality cards/envelopes that you already have, but don’t want to reuse. Mailing them should be the only cost to you.

If you have multiple styles and designs of cards, it’s ok to mix it up! Just make sure you include the matching envelope.

Since this is the first time I’m doing this, I wanted to start small with 5 cards, but if you want to send more, check with your partner. 

If not enough people sign up (since this is a short sign up time), I’ll notify you and move it to a post-holiday card swap if you’re still interested.

The info you put in the form is what I will send to your match (name, tumblr name, address, & email)
