Nicholas the Hedgehog doesn't seem to have catch a break. Being a nerd of the Cathedral's grandest schools and selected by Knight to assist her newest Apprentice named Icefir Windbreaker proved to be a handful.

Misadventures he had with her would make him tear his own quills out of his head in rage but despite it all, she was the only friend he has. Days are usual until the day Icefir had discovered the Runes from an old Crystalline tale...

“Ivo, I have brought you a gift.” The mermaid with the sparkly red scales smiled up at him as she held out what appeared to be a silver, giant fork-looking spear. “Your very own trident!”

"Hmmm... The divine weapon..." He tries pointing it at something, and when that doesn't work he inspects the trident for buttons or dials.

“Yesterday was Mother’s Day…” Zinnia spoke in a forlorn manner. “I hope wherever my mother is, she’s happy.”

Robotnik sighed and put an arm around Zinnia's shoulder. "Ah yes, I too hate mother's day..."

A note finds its way to Robotnik's desk. "Hey Doctor, congratulations on the merger! - J"

Robotnik sniffed the note with an odd expression on his face, and then he spent the next half-hour inspecting his office floor to ceiling for any signs of a certain intruder.

“I’ve always wondered… Do you ever dye your hair?” Zinnia mused before quickly adding, “I’m not saying that your old or anything! But even I get an occasional grey hair time to time and considering that your older, I was just curious. Or maybe I’m just stressed… huh…”

(It’s been a long time since Zinnia aimlessly babbled to her evil dad/boss 😌)

"You might be a little overworked." Robotnik pat the grown woman on the head and smiled. "My hair-care routine is a secret to everyone, even Agent Stone."

☃️- Shivering from the cold

He'd done it again--Robotnik went cruising in the town's little park and passed out drunk. He was pale and shivering, curled up by some bushes; several yards away, two homeless people watched him as if he was going to jump up and maul them any second now.

Liz wandered into the scientists lab for the first time in... a while. She looked around while smiling softly, looking for Ivo, or Emil. Either one she'd be really happy to see again.

"Anyone home?" The rabbit woman called out as she walked around.

There was a mewl, and the sound of a grown man hushing the cat.

“She’s gonna find out anyway,” Emil whispered.

“No, she is not.” Robotnik hissed, “you’re not going to tell her!”

Dozy soon walked into sight and made a beeline for Liz, mewing happily. His thick orange tail waved from side to side.

“I’m ready to talk to you again but it seems you’re too busy for me…” Zinnia said, sadness evident in her voice.

Robotnik stamped his foot. "Stop trying to make me feel guilty, because it won't work! You're the one who moved away from me to live in that stupid suburban nightmare with your boring fiance!"
