As Alissa watched stross pack up his labcoat in to his suitcase, stross finally spoke up,
"Humm... one of de many universes, I've not found one dat seems as pecefull as dis.. It might even be less threatening enough for me to go with less guards..."
Alissa pats has hand on Stross' sholder, and looks down at the suitcase, still somewhat irritated that the fact He's STILL going to bring that coat of his with him.
"So what do you say father? wanna spend a day or so in Manhattan? ProtoV-11.8 seems the most peaceful world to even walk in without armor, you can also still manage to collect more samples of that gunk."
Stross glances back at Alissa
"you knoh I can't-"
"you keep saying that but come on! just a few days in the apartment?"
Stross stares at Alissa and shakes his head
"Were still bringing bodyguards you knoh?"
The girl shrugged and shakes her head
"Whatever you say. Who's coming?"
"Gary Gray, and Zach Wallabe."
Alissa raised her brow
"Who's Zach?"
the female asked as she tilted her head
"He is a recruit, He needs to get use to walking through de rifts"
Stross paused and clears his throat
"only for a few days we vill be dere. understand?"
"Yes dad, come on! lets go already!"
