"you look terrified." kirby knew it was probably terrifying to have a car driving at and around you, so she couldn't really judge him. she was more than a little excited to be driving a new car this nice. of course, the interiors were kitted out for the stunts, to be driving the car she had to be strapped in. there was another harness for a passenger too though. "grab a helmet, i'll run you through what i'm going to do so you know what it feels like from the inside. you can see i won't be anywhere near your mark." she wasn't entirely sure the production team would let her take him on the course, but if it got him to stop looking scared it had to be a good thing. "that way you can go back to standing there looking sexy."

"Have I ever?" He grins into their neck, having moved to press a kiss to their jaw, then their throat. Despite the threat, he still wraps his arms around them from behind, lightly squeezing their waist to pull them closer. "C'mon, just want a lil snack." He snickers.

Nothing about the station felt the same, not with Miller gone. Travis knew that this loss was going to hit harder than any other one that they've had to face. There was no preparation, nothing to warn them that when they left for the call that they weren't all going to come back. It had been a month, a month of all of them trying to get back to normal as if they didn't have a hole in their hearts, in their family. But they were getting a new transfer today and that meant that they needed to pull themselves together.

Travis was in the kitchen when he heard the footsteps, without looking up Travis continued what he was doing over the stove. "I hope you picked up the batteries because we are -" Finally looking up from the pan that he was using to cook hashbrowns, Travis stopped mid-sentence. "Buckley?"

Tommy snorts softly through his nose, fingers continuing to drag lazily across Buck's back. He's grateful for the bare skin and already mourning the idea of them both having to get up.

"Glad I work out just for you to call me soft," flat as Tommy's voice is, there's no real bite to it. The complaint is hollow; he likes knowing Buck's comfortable.

"Any chance I can convince you to spend the morning in bed," he asks after a minute.

tommy crossed his arms, staring over at buck with an exasperated look on his face. "what more is there to talk about, evan? i thought we got everything out the other night at your apartment." while breaking up with buck had not been tommy's intention that night, and he regretted it every day since then, he wasn't sure what could be said to repair the two's relationship back to what it used to be. "how could you even still want to be with me after what i said the other night?"

alice rolled her eyes. she didn't feel like arguing with him calling her 'kid' or assuming she shouldn't be here. she was tired of insisting on her capabilities. "you need me here." that was all he was getting on that front. "i'm thinking this has to do with guns, just so you know. i came by here the other day and they were loading a bunch of stuff in through the back."

"why am i covered in blood?" kate asked, well aware of the sticky substance that covered her. god, she wanted to take a shower so badly right now. "would you believe that it's not blood and that something exploded on me?" yes, that something was her fault, but it had majorly backfired onto her. she reached up, wiping some of the dripping red goop off her eyebrow before it reached her eyes. "i already know what you're going to say. i wont touch anything."
