NEW: Senator Adam Schiff calls out the Supreme Court: "The Roberts Court will go down in history as having upheld the desires of donald trump and the GOP, rather than its commitment to justice, precedent or the rule of law."
The almost 222-year-old landmark precedent, as set forth by Chief Justice John Marshall on February 24, 1803, that “it is emphatically the province and duty of the judicial department to say what the law is.”
Marbury v. Madison, 1803
Quote carved in the halls of the SCOTUS.

Lower Decks helped me keep my shit together during my time at university and when I was looking for a job.
Lower Decks made me feel more seen (I’m autistic and all the main characters are all but confirmed neurodivergent. Especially Rutherford!) than most other shows ever could. (Except maybe Dr Who and Inside Job)
Lower Decks also continued to set a much-needed often forgotten precedent for adult animation that doesn’t rely on being needlessly dark, vulgar, mean-spirited, or stupid.
This show means so much to me.
I loved the finale and I’m devastated that it’s over.
And I miss it terribly.

Yalta 2.0: Why is the Kremlin silent while Washington acts?
My biggest concern does not seem to be devoid of logic, grounds, and evidence. The lack of a fierce reaction from Moscow and Beijing is more deafening than the arrest itself. Russia, which until yesterday was sending Tu-160 bombers to Venezuela and Wagner to protect Maduro, is today limiting itself to protocol declarations. Why?
There are no friendships in geopolitics, there are deals. The most logical analysis points to Trump's new doctrine: transactional isolationism. "You take Venezuela (the Monroe sphere), I take Ukraine (Russia's sphere of influence)." This is Eastern Europe's nightmare - a new Yalta-style delineation of spheres of influence. If Putin has "sold" Maduro in order to get freedom of action in Donbas or a freeze on the conflict on his terms, this means that the great powers are once again dividing the world on a napkin.
Why is it scary? Because it shows that alliances are negotiable. Today Maduro is a bargaining chip. Tomorrow he could be the security of a country on the Black Sea. Putin's silence is the silence of a man who has already received his payment.
Just in time for Pride month.
I repeat: Happy Pride!
