Welp this has got me, the idea of Espresso, Latte, Pomegranate, Werewolf and Lilac Cookie as magical girls and boys has gotten to me since I saw those costumes on Cookie Run Kingdom China. Now here's Espresso Cookie ready to transform into his magical outfit, I don't know what magical item to give him so he's just holding nothing on his hand. Like precure transformations he has his own glowing outfit it's a glowing kimono. I don't know what his transformation phase is unfortunately, I guess you guys can come up with it yourselves.

Atsushi: Atsushi of Light!

Akutagawa: Akutagawa of Darkness!

Both: Futari wa!

Both: Magical Girls Yokohamati!! (I really wonder why they aren’t named “Magical Girls Shinsoukoku instead”)

Me: IS THAT A PRECURE REFERENCE!?

I’m guessing Atsushi is supposed to be Cure Black and Akutagawa is supposed to be Cure White here because of the pose. And the frills close to Akutagawa’s hands look like Cure White’s as well. But maybe the frills on their shoulders and Atsushi’s skirt are supposed to be from Yes!5. The standing collars look like Yes!5 Gogo in that case.

If you don’t believe me with just that, how about:

Atsushi and Akutagawa: Futari wa Precure Magical Girls Splash Soukoku Stars!! (They also said that Soukoku retired last year, probably hinting at the annual instalment of the Precure franchise)

(Although the designs may be based on other Magical Girl anime)

Of course, the senpai Cures don’t do useful things often (unless in All Stars movies), except giving random power-up items.

And let’s not forget:

Miracle Ligh— I mean, Dazai-san, yes, Dazai-san’s support will give you strength.

And most importantly:
