i’m in a bad mood. so i’ll make predictions about the next decade +.
i did this like a decade ago and they came true
one was the world will be at large more queer friendly
the other was mental health will be less stigmatized
ok so prediction time:
1. the age of physicalism is over
2. The age of the natural sciences/ stem (as being higher valued than humanities) is over … (…soon humanities will be higher valued)
3. much more spirituality (though not religiousness)
4. much more anarchical thinking, acting, anarchism (though this will probably be after a lot of…. state violence, more austerity, etc. this one may take some time, sadly. but already a lot of changes are happening)
4. philosophy will be higher valued as it needs to be during big (framework, political etc.) shifts
5. more interdisciplinarity
6. Academia will disappear (slowly) (also as the colonial western dominance on thinking, framing, etc.)
7. Beliefs will be in the forefront, guidance, instead of “FACTS”
8. mental illness will be politicized and may end up becoming even more primary to the cause against capitalism than the climate crisis… (just because of the psychological, emotional, ethical distance of most humans to the rest of nature (& even each other) whereas their psychological wellbeing is a more direct issue to them).
9. We will (hopefully) enter the Era of Consciousness. (or else, dystopia & elimination of humanity on Earth.) (i just had to lol)
