Pain meds - Just noticed something and I’m confused
Anyone know what sugar pills, or placebo pills look like?
’Cause I’ve been speculating whether or not they might have changed my pills for my joint pain. Ever since I renewed my prescription and opened the box to take the bottle out, I immediately got suspicious because it was way smaller and looked significantly different from the one I had before. But I chucked it up to maybe being a different brand or something so that’s why it was a different bottle.
But I was also getting suspicious after taking them for a little while because they didn’t help with the pain as much as the ones before, if even at all. I have such bad pain in my wrists now adays that today for example, I can barely move my hands because it hurts too much, forget about trying to grip and lift anything. I couldn’t even take my toast and lift it to my mouth without it feeling like my hand was being ripped off of my wrist. (Pretty much exactly like it was before I got diagnosed and started getting medication for the pain).
As you can see on the picture at the bottom, the pills look different. They all come from the same bottle, the new one, and the thing is, the bigger one with the PS print on it like pills usually have (some sort of print to tell what pill it is or how many mg), they’re so few in the bottle that I literally didn’t even notice until now, like a month or two later.
So is there anyone that knows why these look different? Is one of them a placebo or sugar pill? (It’s Prednisolon by the way)
I’m not trying to say anything about the doctor or pharmaceutical company or anything, I’m just trying to make sense of it. Maybe it’s just a bit of paranoia or something, I don’t know, I’m just confused why there are two different looking pills in the same pill bottle.
Gonna go next 30 days without any alcohol at all because I got new meds. Hope they'll help!
