Day 185 of Sophomore Year
I'll start with my story about my prek class today. I asked a little girl who her favorite Disney princess was, and she told me Ariel from the Little Mermaid. So I started to sing "Part of Your World," and she told me I sounded just like Ariel. I swear that compliment made my day maybe even week. Now besides that, today was a rough day emotionally for a lot of people. I think right now CIU as a campus just needs a lot of prayer, and tomorrow's prayer day is going to be a tough one but I think it's just what we need right now. I think one thing that is important for us to remember is that God is our peace right now. I'd like to say thank you to a friend who spent about two hours walking and talking to me, challenging me with something that I had never acknowledged in my life. I'm grateful to God they saw it in me and talked to me about it. God is great.
