Day 180 of Sophomore Year
Today was a long, hard day. I feel like I had to push myself through this day. Only less than an hour left. I made it. The highlight of the day was getting to see my PreK class again and working with the children at IFM. Children always brighten my day. I'm going to close with my first two stanzas of my sonnet. Opinions would be appreciated:
Change: progress or an unwelcome sorrow? I'm forced to think it's a sorrow, old friend. Into my life you entered from shadows. Then, in an instant, you were gone again.
Every day a war wages within me. My consciousness flooded with memories, Making it difficult for me to breathe. I hear your voice, haunting and whispering.
