If you haven’t been made aware, Chaosium has a few adventures for free on their website! One solo adventure called “Alone Against the Flames,” and then three hour long introductory adventures for players who really wanna give the Call of Cthulhu rulesystem a test-go. I’ve played three out of the four of these myself, and any GM worth their salt can take them and spin them into much more than an hour long sessions, or, if you’re just starting out they are simply a good way to show your party what horror roleplaying is all about.
