Heads up!

I have a few premade covers available on my Kofi Store

(The first one comes with two hair color options built in.)

These are layered PSD files at your average ebook size and 300DPI. You get commercial rights to the artwork (but not complete ownership*) but the fonts provided are just samples and you would need to make sure whatever font you use is ok for publishing. There’s also an add on edit and customization option for an additional $20 that can include a basic custom title design, some small character modifications, and a simple wrap around cover if needed.

*Note: You own the commercial rights to use for your cover and any promotional materials you’d like, and no other copies of the cover are available for use. I do reserve the right to feature it in my portfolio, however. I also do not allow major edits by other artists/designers, or for these to be fed into A I. Please, just ask me to edit it if you need major changes. Thank you!

So... did you know we make covers?

Covers like these? Or actually, these specific covers that are just begging for a Real title and a real author's name to go with them.

These covers are available for purchase on our website and use commercially licensed fonts and images.

People really do judge a book by its cover and it's important that your cover speaks the genre shorthand. These covers speak the language of contemporary romance (either with or without sex). (I really need to do a post on the language of covers. But today is not that day.)

Sun!!! "Chocolate" looks so beautiful! I can't wait to read it 😍 I am so happy for you! I am planning to publish something this year too, can I ask you how you make your covers? Are you commissioning someone or do you make them with a specific program? The question of the cover is something where I am really still very clueless right now 😅

I have to pay for my covers, though I do premades to save $$. I got the three covers for Cake, Chocolate, and Churros on sale, all three for less than $100.

I’m finding Instagram a great place to be an indie writer (so far) and weaseled my way into an anthology through contacts there. This whole indie thing is like a giant fandom but it’s so much harder to get anyone to pay attention to your work. (should be like, ao3, lol, I just toss my work out onto “contemporary romance” and hope someone reads it, writes a nice comment, and recs it to their friends)

We do more than just romance covers. While Romance is our home, we like to dip our toes into speculative fiction too.

These pre-made covers are available for purchase and are just waiting for your author name and book title to go on them. All of our covers are exclusive, which means they'll only be used once, and feature licensed/purchased for commercial use fonts and images.

Readers really do judge a book by its cover. It's a sad truth, but many people will decide if a book is worth buying by its cover. Additionally, it's important that your cover speaks the language of the genre that you're trying to reach... this includes font choices as well as images.
