Friends give friends books 📓
Okay, this one is SUPER random, but I watched Yukon Vet not too long ago, my brain automatically went, "But what if it was Juke..." and @riderunlove was silly enough to encourage me.
Julie is a singer who needs a serious break from the world, so she gets in her car and just... Drives. North. Alex and Flynn, her two best friends, think she's lost her mind, but they let her be. For now.
Over the next couple of days she drives from LA all the way up the California coast, through Oregon and Washington state, and finally gets to the border between the US and Canada.
For a split second, she rethinks everything, then pulls out her passport and crosses the border into Canada.
She has no idea where she's going, just that she's going. Somehow, she finds herself in the Yukon, on the side of the road, panicking as a pregnant reindeer goes into distress during her labor.
And who should come along but Dr. Luke Patterson, the only vet for a hundred miles?
(Possibly magical) shenanigans ensue (because it's me).
It's a very strange idea that I think maybe two people will read, but there you go.
