I am the One Bag Hobo Prep. The Original. There are others imitating me - that much I know even though Most Who Live A Similar Lifestyle Do Not Feel The Need To Imitate. But I am the Original Hobo Prep.
At the moment, I am in Japan doing a small design job. I use one bag to travel and have this perfected, and get by as best I can, with the help of my harem, followers and helpers, friends and former colleagues in the Profession on Madison Avenue, living on couches when I can't get a spot in the lounge, or when I have A Taste For The Ordinary Life. Some call me the London Vagabond, some call me the Homeless Macbook Pro Retina Man, but I am the Hobo Prep.
In a sense I am homeless as I do not now own An Apartment Or Believe In Holding Property For The Sake Of It, Because Freedom and Values are More Important To Preps Than Any Land-Holding, Item of Personal Property, or Possession.
I innately know about all things prep, or at least, I know about many of them, enough to share my thoughts with you here, and read yours too. I went to a prep school, a famous east coast university, and was a design professional on a comfortable-to-riches figure salary. I count some of the wealthiest men in the country at my age bracket as my friends.
But here I am, before you as the Hobo Prep, and I am now asking you, what is Prep and What Is This Small World In Which We Live, and How Can We Make It Better?
