A stone village taken from another era. Here time seems to have stopped and nature steals the show, between mountains and lakes, in a rare tranquility that silently embraces you.
The diamond village of Prespa, which in the past was the largest village in the area (head village). Agios Germanos with its unaltered traditional character and its special architecture charms every visitor.
You can't help but be impressed by the exterior and interior of the homonymous church, in which wall paintings dating from three different periods are preserved, the oldest of which date back to the 11th century.
The traditional watermill of Agios Germanos is the only one of the 20 watermills that existed in the area that has been fully restored. It was built in 1930 and consisted of a complex with three uses: flour mill, water mill and grist mill.
