#3216 - Sade may have one of the most beautiful voices ever recorded. This album showcases her at the height of her powers masterfully. Haunt Me is exactly that. The entire album is understated but powerful. This album could be released today to the same critical acclaim.

#3217 - While there were lots of entries into the teen queen pop music competition there was only one as sophisticated as Martika. And her 1991 album was a revelation in the pop genre. While it was not wildly popular in terms of sales it did provide the emotional and sonic structure for artists like Britney Spears. She showed a teen artist could own their music and style. The best song is the ballad Love. . . Thy Will Be Done. It’s great.

#3218 - A classic house music album full of 90s influences. Lots of electronic samples, loops, and overall electric goodness. This album has the song Pump Up The Jam, a sports event staple as well as top 10 hit Get Up. This album feels like it was sealed in a vault and the ghosts of raves past have come back to haunt us.

#3219 - This album by Tim McGraw is a reminder of how great and cheesy country music can be. From tender and heartbreaking ballads like Don’t Take the Girl to the country banger Down on the Farm and the dated and squeamish songs Refried Dreams and Indian Outlaw there is a innocence to this album. Its really good but also feels very 90s.
