It's like when a magician pulls a handkerchief out of a hat but there's another and another and another-
pretentious meme,E,K,O,Q,R,T,U,Y,Z,2
E) An “Unpopular”/obscure fanon speculation you really like.
Professor Tomoe recovering, meaning Hotaru (and the Outers) ends up with a bigger family she has to split responsibilities between.
K) An arc or storyline you’ve completely wiped references to in your own work (deliberately).
Future/CT/BMC/whatever arc. I have no ideas for it yet. Much.
O) A character you had no strong feelings about until they kept showing up in your work.
I am still surprised how often Michiru, heavily modified or not, comes up in drabbles.
Q) A character you have complicated feelings about but don’t want to spoil people’s enjoyment of by complaining all that much.
I can’t really think of anyone I keep hands off of, tbh.
R) A popular ship (fan or can) you broke up or ignore because you don’t find it interesting.
In the sense of it usually being a big deal, H/M and U/M is generally not something I think about when writing about em, except tangently. But ignoring ships is pretty standard unless I’m talking about them specifically.
T) A disliked official concept you tried to put in your work to try and salvage it (whether you succeeded or failed)
Very early in my Mams drabble design I actually played with the idea of justifying Anime-Early-Jerk-Mamoru in their characterization for some pathos, but I found it tiresome, superficial and kind of extra "kibble" to the original character that shouldn't have been included in the first place.
U) A canon you heavily reference or mix from because its less annoying to you, rather than specifically more liked
I admit to heavily framing from the manga, along with the 'tone' of PGSM, just for the sheer lack of conflict in my existing ideas.
Y) A character people think you hate that you’re actually fond of/ambivalent to/don’t hate
For a character so wrapped up in a shipping plot/debate created specifically for them, Seiya is really interesting to me.
Z) A character you’d delete from canon, or reworked into an existing character
I’ll cheat and mention Fried Octopus drabble replaced Makoto's infamous childhood friend and Rei's temple drifter with Haruka and Michiru, respectively, if that counts.
2) A character you like because their fandom is easy-going
Makoto is my favorite character and her fandom is quite chill.
