Gemma and Pete’s   style is an eclectic mixture - they lean towards mid-century, Scandi, industrial and rustic. Both like white backgrounds with pops of color. Some of their favorite finds have come from charity shops, car boot sales, Etsy and eBay.

“My favorite possession is our dining table and chairs,” says Gemma, “it extends to fit loads of people, which is great when we have family gatherings.”

The house has a lovely big garden, which allowed Gemma to finally get her pet ducks (Margo, Ponyo and Nova), after wanting them for ten years.

The shelves are all made from reclaimed wood - Pete made them from the leftovers of a rotten old shed they dismantled in our garden.

A kitchen update was a priority, which the couple resourcefully pulled together. The kitchen units were all from Ikea and the tiles were a bargain at £1 per pack.

Upstairs, the couple’s own bedroom is designed to be clutter free and calming, with soothing warm colors and rust tones.

Their daughter’s room was very much designed with her input - she loves all things Zen and calm.

On the back of the back of the house they have a Zen-style tranquil deck.

This small townhome in Oxford, England is so pretty. It was renovated and has such a wonderful pastel kitchen in the palest blue, even in the the backsplash tiles.

The kitchen has pink accents that are carried over to this antique cabinet’s wallpapered back and accessories. 

An exposed stone wall under the stairs was utilized as a dining area- they had a cabinet custom made to fit under the stairs. Very efficient use of space.

They do have a knack for finding the right storage pieces- the armoire is cut to perfectly fit under the eaves.

Beautiful burled bedside stand and lovely pastel floral fabrics.

The pretty bath has a lovely antique sink cabinet.

Across the hall is a sweet child’s room. Isn’t it adorable? They took an old small townhouse in disrepair and turned it into an lovely little home.
