many years of reach and rhyme

but pay no mind...

it doesn't matter anymore the pleasures thought of all before

it's only common sense 

and then it ends

so way back to the piano make the case for keys and celebrate the chords you find that never stray

from fingers often frayed

to bits

and this evening as I watch the light that fades against the trees

inspire

I pack myself into the mold that springs eternal

and I'm golden

once again

my only friend

the patterning

and no pretend

to sing

again....
