Hi! I can't find where the person talked about it, I thought it was on twitter but I can't find it. But I believe someone said to him that they had the same birthday, and Louis answered with "it's pretty unfortunate". I remember when I read what the person said I thought it was kind of a weird story but much more likely than "i'm gay" out of nowhere, I don't understand why he would say that in the context it happened. So probably the birthday thing is real, and it really makes sense because I personally can't really hear "i'm gay" but "my birthdAY" makes sense, so that's probably where the confusion happened :)

Dois fãs estavam nesse hotel e um deles falou que fazia aniversário no mesmo dia que o do louis, ele respondeu "same day, its pretty unusual isn't it" [mesmo dia, bem incomum, não é], mas o sotaque é muito carregado, então parece que ele falou outra coisa.

E a Eleanor nem estava nesse dia, só estava o louis, liam, oli e o guarda costas, então não tinha como falar como se ela estivesse presente.

Mas assim, se voce quer continuar a acreditar que ele disse isso, pode continuar. Mas na minha sincera opinião, não faz diferença na narrativa.

And before Louis said "it's pretty unfortunate" I think he repeats the word birthday or say "hey" maybe? Because I don't hear gay there either, but I hear "AY". Hi! I think all kinds of messy audio discussions are a bit pointless because I honestly never hear shit 😂 So people will hear whatever they want to hear. But this situation was widely discussed and definitely debunked, check out this masterpost. The birthday actually makes sense if you read the context. Although "I'm gay it's pretty unfortunate" is super funny, it doesn't make any sense.

mano, não sei. talvez porque eles estavam em um hotel? que é um lugar público e se não me engano isso aconteceu durante a madrugada então tinha hóspedes dormindo. talvez foi o segurança do hotel que disse para eles falarem mais baixo? E o homem disse "try to be quiet", o que para mim é ele falando para diminuir o tom e tentar não chamar tanta atenção porque pode incomodar outras pessoas que estavam no local.

From what I hear there's a lot of Darood and Isaaq people selling their homes in Mogadishu cause they think that it's only a matter of time before it's taken away from them. If there is any element of truth in this then this is terrible news. My mom was telling me how you'd think that because the city is getting back in order then it'll be more diverse and open for everybody but it isn't.
