Sorry, maybe this is a dumb question--but is inktober solely artwork, or does it include fanfics as well?
Inktober is an art thing. But this is just me throwing another prompt list into the void lol. You’re welcome to use this in literally any way you want. So if you wanted to do fic following these prompts, go for it! You just wouldn’t really be able to call it “inktober” lol.
While I’m here though, I wanna say, just to everyone in general- While the traditional inktober challenge is to do one ink drawing a day, there isn’t some strict rule set that you must follow or else. Many people participate with digital art, or only get a week in before giving up, or stick to it and finish all of them even if they’re behind and still posting into November... The point it: It’s casual. Using the official inktober prompts “wrong” isn’t going to summon Jake Parker into your house to scold you. Obviously this doesn’t mean you should go on twitter and start tagging your oil paintings with “inktober”, but you know what I mean. :P People are busy, life happens, etc. etc. Not everyone is ready to jump into a 30 day challenge. So feel free to participate in whatever way you can! If that means doing it every other day, or you want to go back and forth between one prompt list and another, go ahead!
