The morning market was bustling like the young woman hadn’t seen before. As far as she knew, there wasn’t any special holiday coming up unless it was specified for the town. Shrugging her shoulders, the petite young woman went around the stalls looking at what she was able to afford for her upcoming meals for the month. She also needed herbs for her teas and ‘potions’.

Spotting some lavender and thistle, she sighed in relief. Next would be rosemary, mint, and a bit of sage. Thanking the vendor, she then heard someone calling for someone named Kija. 

Strange name, but she didn’t pay attention to it as she went about her business. She had to get some more herbs before she could get anything else. And just as she was about to inquire another vendor about some jasmine, she felt someone place their hand on her shoulder. Please oh please don’t let it be someone from the Kobayashi Clan...she prayed as she stiffened. 

She had been so far lucky in staying on the run and only coming to the markets on certain days, then mixing it up. Though when she heard the name Kija, she was confused. “Huh?”

he enjoys romance and drama. a bit of comedy is good as well. 

31: Most prized possession?

that would be his daggers and the bow he wears in his hair. both were most likely given to him by gi-gan, the person he most likely cares the most for in this world, so he cherishes those a lot, especially now that he’s away from her.

36: What makes them feel guilty?

he doesn’t really like being pushed to have to kill someone, mostly because of gi-gan’s teachings. she didn’t want the people she cared for to carry that burden, so he feels slightly guilty when he has to go against it. he also carries a bit of guilt about garou and having to leave him behind. even if he knew he was going to die soon anyways, he still wanted to help him tbh.

Casual clothes were thoughtlessly tossed on and his uniform tucked neatly back in its spot in the changing room. Despite the hectic day the cafe had just had, the blond seemed to be no less energetic than he was when he’d started his shift that afternoon. 

(☀☽) “Good work, good work!”

He chimed the words childishly to the other male workers as he finished getting changed. His boundless energy, short stature, and child-like face made it hard to believe he was already seventeen, but he was. 

Simply ruffling his hair with his fingers was the closest he got to tending to it, so he was changed and ready to go before anyone else most of the time. A lot of people mentioned envying how low-maintenance he was and still managing not to seem to sloppy. 

(☀☽) “I’m done changing now, so it’s time for me to head home! Let’s have another good day tomorrow, huh?~”

Zeno never really stopped moving. With his afternoon work done, he still had to head back to the shrine he lived in and tend to it for the evening. There was also the task of making his own dinner, and that took longer than most would think with how much he ate.
