Hey guys! I know alot of you dont know me personally, but I've noticed an increase in younger regressors in the community on Tumblr and on the internet (maybe you were always there i dunno) and I just wanna talk cause im 25 years old and I grew up in the era of children who had unrestricted internet access and I dont wanna sound like im lecturing but i wanted to say a few things.

Don't not proceed if regressed.

The block button is your most loyal servant, your most prestigious knight, greatest soldier, and is a tool that you should be comfortable using. You dont need to feel like blocking is rude. You CAN block people of they simply have a different opinion of you.

If you feel a conversation is becoming hostile, creepy, or even just unpleasant. You can simply leave the conversation. You dont owe anyone on the internet your discomfort.

Don't post on the internet when you are angry or feeling a high intensity emotion. Sometimes we say things in anger that we don't mean and over the internet the sense of anonymity makes you even bolder. You should walk away from devices and calm down before any further action if any. (Refer to previous block button and just simply leave.)

Don't drink till your 18. Don't smoke. Don't do drugs. But also dont lie and say you did those things as a minor to seem cool cause in retrospect it is SOOOO lame and you'll lay awake thinking about it when your 23 and cringing so hard at yourself. Drugs and alcohol aren't cool. You grow up and if it's anything more then recreational/social your kinda a loser. (But also addiction is really hard and very serious and if you think you have a problem please get help. Its loser behavior to lie about being an addict but being an addict is a serious disease that you need help with right away.)

Don't take naked pictures, not now not ever. Not analog, not digital. Its not worth it.

That person in a server/gc who is constantly complaining of suicidal thoughts + self harm habits etc. If you suggest real professional help and they reply in the general tone of "I dont believe in it/it doesn't work". Leave the situation. Either remove them from the group or server or remove yourself if that's not possible. Strangers lives on the internet are not your burden.

For your own safety if you're a minor please don't be friends with adults on the internet. Im sure there are plenty of fine people your age.

As a kid I got all this advice as a kid too and my first reaction was "im not dumb, are you calling me an idiot? Of course not!" Im NOT calling you stupid. Im saying you are not special. You are not 'built different'. You are not mature for your age. You are kid in a place where anyone and everyone can lie to you with little to no consequences.
