Laying on your bed getting ready to take a nap your phone vibrated against the nightstand, almost sliding off the surface onto the floor if you didn’t catch it. Your Instagram and Twitter blowing up with mentions, begging you to react to prettymuchs new song. The boys completely left you in the dark about their music purposely to get your raw reactions, you haven’t been seeing the promo for it or heard a snippet as they usually let you, this time around they wanted you to be watching from a distance. Turning on your computer you wait for it to load. As it’s doing that you turn on the lights to fix your hair before you’re live on Instagram.

“Hi, everyone how are you?” You ask seeing all the comments asking about you. “I’m good, I’m kinda excited y’all, this time they didn’t show me anything I even tried to give Nick the puppy eyes it failed completely” you giggle, you turned to the computer typing in youtube.

“How’d you guys liked the new song? What was your favorite part?” You moved a piece of hair from your cheek and placed it behind your ear. When you looked back to your phone you saw Nick's comment ‘damn you looking beautiful 🥵’ “nick! calm yourself, but thank you, baby, I was just about to fall asleep until I saw a notification about your new song, you're a terrible boyfriend” you joke to him.

For a few seconds you read other comments laughing at one in particular ‘how dare he that heathen do this to Queen y/n off with his head!’ , you cover your mouth as you laugh your laugh increases by the followed comment ‘y’all Nick is only 5’8-5’9 if y’all don’t just chop them ankles with a scooter’ you wipe your eyes from crying of laughter.

“Bro beanz, y’all are funny as hell. Do y’all got a vendetta against Nick?” Pausing the video you read some more comments ‘this is why he barely come online, we bully him like he owe us money’ , giggling you place your head on your stomach “right! Y’all bullying him like he stole something from you, give my baby a break” you joke, “alright let’s get my raw reaction of ‘stars’ by pretty much, I already know it’s going to be good, they’re talented individuals”

Nick comments ‘don’t compliment me after you just let me get dragged on national tv, I know this gonna be on Twitter 😒’ leaning close to the camera you smile “don't worry I'll retweet it as a memoir” looking at your laptop you place your fingers on the spacebar “okay ready? In three...two...one...” pressing the spacebar.

Zion appears first and you comment “look at the long-legged human” going into Zion's verse you're mesmerized by the transitions “the transitions are so smooth and clean, y'all look good in y'all outfits” you watch Austin slide into Zions shot and start his verse “aww Austin looks so cute, it's still strange seeing him without the long blonde” looking back for a second at your phone you see nicks comment ‘i know damn well you saw me in the music video where my compliment mamas😒’ pausing the music video you lean back on the headboard “I only saw you for two seconds! What can I compliment you on? Your lighting speed?” you joke, he comments back immediately

‘I'm very much hurt. I'm in my feelings’ you laugh before telling him you love him, getting into pre-chorus you watch the three of the dance hyping then up you pause the video again “the part where Edwin said ‘girl you're an angel’” you try to mimic his hand gesture before laughing “that shit was clever, Nick teach me this dance?” you ask him

‘What's your favorite scene so far?’ , “I liked the scene with Brandon in the plants, and the beginning with Brandon, Austin, and Edwin when they had the glasses on” looking back your head slowly starts moving to the rhythm of the melody.

Finally nicks part comes up and you start giggling “baby you're so handsome you know that? Like you are, I want them glasses” you stare at the screen with puppy eyes, waiting for his comment to appear. You click his name and add him to the live.

“You're beautiful mamas,” nick says looking directly into your eyes “stop, you give me butterflies, but who told you to look so handsome? Those glasses I need them” you look at him as your smile slowly creeps up on you

“Why are you smiling?” you ask him

“Because you're smiling” rolling your eyes you look back at your laptop “baby this song is so good, reminds me of early 2000s I don't know why” clicking the space bar you countined watching the video. “WHY IS EDWIN SHIRTLESS?!” you scream while laughing at the same time “that caught me off-guard, Edwin really said ‘imma flex real quick’” nick laughs in the background as you finish the video.

“Oh my God, why are you so cute? Did y'all see his smile at the end? He's so precious” you look at the screen reading more comments.

‘Nick has such a supportive girlfriend🥺’ “always, but I just really love this song! It's finished and I wanna listen to it again, ugh I wish the song was longer” nick smiles looking at you with loving eyes “what would you rate the song baby?” looking at him you pretend to be thinking hard.

“Hmm, if I have to rate it. It would be a ten out of ten, I like it. It feels so much like the early 2000s but still pretty much, y'all really going into y'all r&bmuch stage”

“That's the plan baby”, sighing you close your laptop before smiling “I'm so proud of y'all, you guys get to put out music a bit more freely and you get to experiment ugh I'm excited for yall”

“You're so cute mamas, come open the door I'm outside,” he asks, leaving your phone in the room for a second to answer the door you see nick with yellow flowers in his hand and a gift bag. “For you mamas” grabbing the Items from his hand, he places his hand on the small of your back as he locks the door. Looking in the bag you see the glasses along with constellation-covered self-care items.

“Our manager and I went out to find some things for you, I wanted to fit the theme of the song” walking with him into your bedroom he waves at the camera “hey everyone”

“You didn't have to get me anything, thank you baby” nick leans over and kisses you delicately “thank you so much, guys, what was your favorite part?” you ask everyone. Nick wraps his arm around your shoulder leaning your head on his chest. He kisses your temple making you smiling at him.

“Oh yeah! Brandon with the fire around his feet was cool! I liked that too” you chatted with beanz for a while before you felt your body getting tired. “Okay guys, I'm going to bed I'm really sleepy, so good night or morning wherever you are, I'll talk to you all soon bye” ending the live you lay on top of nick smiling.

“You make me so happy” nick comments moving the flyaway hairs from your face. “You make ms happy too” nuzzling your nose in his neck he holds you tight wrapping you guys in a blanket. “I'm taking you out on a date today, because I've missed you so much, work has been stressful but knowing that you and beanz loved it, makes it all worthwhile”

Kissing his chest you snuggle closer to him “i love you” “i love you more”

Side note: I couldn't bring myself to try to write Brandon in as a love interest because I respect his and Maggie's relationship so much.

(Y/N POV)

You're in your room having a good time jamming out to some music. You check your phone and you have a text from your boyfriend. You look at the text thinking that he is going to be late for coming over to your place because both of you planned on meeting and hanging out. But it was not what you were expecting nor wanting him to say to you. "I know that we have known each other for a long time now but I feel as if we are growing apart. I don't feel the same as I once did, you are a great person don't get me wrong but I don't see myself with you anymore. I will still always love you- (insert an ex's name)."

Devastated is an understatement as to how you currently feel. How could he not tell you about how he was feeling and see if y'all could fix things, why break up over a text message and not to your face? There were more questions than answers and you tried to call him and by then he blocked you. So you feel completely defeated, you group text your guy best friends who were in Prettymuch. Nick answered immediately but he said that he was back home and he wished the best for me and to call if I wanted to talk. Then Brandon answered the text shortly after and he says that he is coming over.

You didn't want anyone to come over because you didn't want them to see you ugly cry. So you text back and just ask why do guys do that, and that he doesn't need to come over because you don't want to be around people right now. The other boys reply and ask if I am okay. You lie and tell them yes even though you were not okay at all. You felt like the walls of your life were crashing in and you felt as if you weren't good enough for anyone at that point. Zion called and you answered slowly, trying to not let him hear the hurt in your voice and see that you had been crying over facetime. Zion always tried to cheer you up but he was currently out with his mom. So his mom realized that you were hurting. She asked what was wrong but it hurt more to go back and explain what happened. So Z tells her and she gives you some advice but it was all too much to take in for that moment.

You hear a knock on the door and you drag yourself off of your floor and answer the door without even looking. Brandon is standing there with your favorite flowers and a smile on his face. His smile disappears when he sees your eyes are really red from crying and that you had tears currently streaming down your face. You quickly try to hide it by wiping the tears away but it is too late. He steps in and gives you a hug and he hands out the flowers to you. You smile and both of you walk and sit on the couch placing the flowers on the bar counter as you walk by. He wipes your tears away and you let him read the message. The whole time you are slowly crying replaying how much time you and your now ex had spent together.

He turns off your screen and says "He is an awful person to not realize that you are an absolutely amazing person that deserves to be treated better than how he treated you. Some guys are not ready for a relationship and if he knew that then he should not have misled you into something he knew he wasn't ready for or ready to commit himself to. I am sorry that you have to go through this because you don't deserve it." You smile and thank him and then you start spewing out questions that you had since he sent the message to you.

He tries to answer them but they were not the answers you were hoping for. Then you ask him the final question of if you are good enough for anyone else. He stopped and looked at you as if you were crazy, " absolutely don't let something like this bring down your confidence, you are beautiful, strong, and independent. I don't want to ever hear you question that again. Honestly you are too pure for this world and he did not deserve to be a part of your life, smile because you know that someone that is your soulmate is coming in the future. They will love you beyond measure and they will deserve to be graced by your presence." You smile and laugh to slow your past emotions down, but you have a good ugly cry session while he hugs you the entire time. After your cry session you decide to make popcorn and have candy on the side. For the rest of the day you watch tv with Brandon and laugh trying to cope with how you are feeling.

Coffee Date

Nick × Reader

Plot: Coffee date with Nick after bumping into him, and having a date.

(Y/N POV)

It is Thursday and you are at work and you somehow get suckered into getting the coffee for your four co-workers/friends in the department. You gather everyone's orders and head down to the local cafe. The traffic is not bad so you make it in five minutes, you step out of the car and head into the shop without looking up before you step up on the sidewalk. You run into a man that has a chiseled jaw for the gods, and he was pretty built. He had on a graphic t-shirt that had "Prettymuch" written on it and it was colorful, with plain blue jeans on and some nice shoes to match. He had turned to the side so you noticed that he was thicc. But you immediately apologized for bumping into him then you realize that you were gazing a little too hard at him.

He smiled at you and told you not to worry, grateful he didn't make a scene you smile and walk past him with his friends standing nearby. You head into the coffee shop and all of the different aromas hit your nose at once, it was like a breath of fresh air with all of the different scents. You were fourth in line so you stood there looking at the menu making sure they were not out of what you or your friends wanted. You see the same man that you had bumped into walk into the coffee shop when the bell rang signifying that someone else was coming in. You quickly turn back around so you are not staring at him like before. The line moves up and you suddenly feel a tap on the shoulder. You turn around to see him smiling at you and his smile that radiates like the sun. It was a much needed light with the grey skies that were looming over the city.

You smile back at him in a seductive but calm manner and he starts to ask a question but it was not the usual "can I get your number". He asked a really sweet question "how was your day and if it wasn't the best can I buy you a drink and we can sit and talk about it". The line moves up  your next so you thank him for asking and let him know that you are grabbing coffee for you and your co-workers and that you're heading back to work after that. He gets this sad look on his face so you quickly let him know that you get off work at five and that you can grab some coffee with him after. He smiles and agrees and the person in front of you moves so you move up and start placing the different orders. When you go to pay he gently grabs your hand and tells you not to worry about it. He has his card in hand but you insist on paying but he steps up to the register and orders a drink for himself and pays anyway.

You thank him and he ask you some general info like your name and everything so you start to become more comfortable with him. You feel his energy is good and he is a very sweet person as you wait on the order you exchange information. Your order is called and you grab the coffee and leave thinking and daydreaming about this man named Nick. When you get back to the office you tell your friends about the encounter and they were asking was there anything different about him that you noticed. You said you didn't know but then remembered "Prettymuch" so everyone searched it up and sees that he is in a boyband and my god is he an amazing singer. But you have to focus on work but every once in a while you listen to the band's music and you feel as if they are majorly underrated. Before you know it, it's time to clock out. You quickly do it in excitement and anticipation of seeing him once more.

You head back to the same coffee shop and you see him sitting at one of the tables waiting for you. When your eyes lock a smile spreads across his face and yours as well. You start talking and he does reveal that he is in a boy band but you don't ask him to sing for you since you feel as if so many people probably ask for that and you want to stand out. You talk about family and friends and both of you have a deep and intellectual conversation for a long time. He invites you to his home with his bandmates so you could let loose and invite some of your friends over and have a good time. As he is talking the employee states over an intercom that it is ten minutes until closing so it was 9:50.

Both of you realize that there was no one else was in the shop, and it was just the two of you. You finish up the conversation and he helps you out of the seat. You throw away your trash and as you are about to walk out he opens the door for you. Once you leave the building you eventually both go your separate ways but you say your goodbyes first and he gives you a kiss on the cheek and tells you "have a good night drive safely mamas, and text me to let me know that you are okay". You pause for one moment confused when he said “mamas” but you don’t question it and you get in your car smiling from ear to ear.

You scanned the racks of clothing, trying to decide which shirt suited you best, wondering if the color would wash you out. Nick was right behind you, pointing at one particular shirt and telling you how it would match with some pants you have.

His phone rang, “Hello?” A moment passes before he puts it on speaker, “Y/N is here,” he said.

“Yerrrr,” Zion yelled.

“You zooted, Z?” You asked. He doesn’t answer, only laughs.

“You guys busy?” Edwin’s voice had called out, sounding distant.

“Just shopping, need to pick up something at the cleaners,” Nick responded.

“Can you stop at the supermarket? We got no food,” Ed said.

“Nothing?”

Zion exclaimed, “Bruh, we hungry! Ain’t shit here?”

“Zion wants snacks,” Brandon clarified. “Could you guys grab some stuff until we can go?”

“I’m down,” you shrugged and pecked Nick’s cheek.

“Yeah, we got it.”

“Bet,” Brandon spoke. “I’ll see y’all later.”

“Bring oat milk!” Ed yelled before the call cut.

A half an hour later, you and Nick had begun going up and down the aisles. “Peanut butter,” you tell him and he reaches for a bottle. “We also need jelly, and mayo. Edwin said he likes the vegan one with avocado oil?” Nick shrugged and pulled the jelly from the shelf, dropping them into the cart.

“Yogurt?”

“Yes, and oat milk,” you nod and follow him towards the fridge. “We should buy ice cream,” you suggest. “Watch some Netflix, we haven’t done that in awhile.”

“Sure,” he smiled and pressed a quick kiss to your lips. “Ben and Jerry’s good?”

“Yeah that’s good. Do you need any frozen fruits for your smoothies?”

Nick paused, “Mangoes and strawberries, I think.”

“Alright, I’ll go get those. Meet me at the chips, Zion said he wants the purple doritos.”

With that you split apart and go collect your respective items. As you're moving towards the chips you catch Nick with some girls, taking pictures. A smile grows on your face as you see the joy on his face with the fans. You slow your movement allowing them to talk before joining to bid the girls goodbye. “We done?” Nick asked as he looked at you with a face of content.

Before you could answer your phone goes off with a text from Zion, “Bruh, we still hungry! Hurry y’all assess up.”

“Yeah come on, before Zion loses his mind.” You chuckle, “We can make dinner tonight.”

"hey" you say back, "so what does the best women in the world want to eat today" nick says kissing your hand, "what about y/f/f/f" you say exited "ok coming right up" you giggle at his little gestor, nick starts driving to your y/f/r you turned on the radio and one of the prettymuch songs start playing it was solita, ngl you really like that song but you played it off. nick looked at you and smiled but you didn't notice, nick loves singing to you he just doesn't say it. so he starts singing his part in solita and you were smiling from ear to ear he also loved it when you smile. so you reached your y/f/f/f. so you both went inside ordered nick sayed "mamas you can go to the car if you want I can get the food ok" you shook your head "baby I'm not leave you in here I'm gonna say here with you ok" "ok" he says back. so you got the order and you went home. *skip to after you finish eating* nick decided to play some music , so he grabbed your hand and you both started dancing sharing laughs and smiles and ilys to one another, then a slow song play nick kneeled down and said "may I have this dance" "yes you may" you say giggling at him so you both started slow dancing *skip to after cuz I'm lazy lol* so after you do he sweeps you off you feet and then kisses you passionately after you pull away you say "was that necessary nick" nick says with a smile on his face "yes y/n yes it was" you got in the mood to cuddle so you asked nick "nicki can we go cuddle please" he looks back at you confused "ma is that even a question" he said putting his hands on his hips. so you guys go upstairs lay down and cuddle together ya know enjoying each others company when you were laying down he sayed "your the best women you know that" you turned and looked at him "really" you say "of course you are you are the highlight of my day y/n you make me laugh and smile you help me get though most of my day threw most aggravting ones and the most best days y/n most of the day you stay in my mind all the time ma I love you with all my heart" "aww nick that's the sweetest thing anyone has ever said to me" you say looking at him "well its about time you know baby" he says kissing your cheek, and you both cuddled the rest of the night

Your birthday party was amazing but it was getting very late so after the party everyone said there goodbyes, everyone else had left but the boys and maggie and ansley, zion asked you and nick "do yall need help cleaning this up" before you could answer nick said "oh no me and y/n got it" maggie said "you sure its a lot of stuff" nick said "nah we got yall can go and besides yall partied way to much" you giggled at the comment then you said "I mean he does have a point" you said, austin said "ok fine well go now" so you guys said your goodbyes hugs and everything after that you and nick turned around to a big mess you and nick look at the mess and then each other "we should have took the help nick" "hey mamas we can do this ok" he said as he pecked your cheek "ok but whos getting the kitchen and and whose getting the living room" you said with unsureness, he said "ill do living room you do kitchen ok" "ok" you said with confidence so you went into the kitchen * skip to when you finished cuz I'm lazy* so you walked into the living room and saw nick trying his hardest to clean everything then you said "you need help boy" he turned around to look at you then looked around the room he said with a grin "yea I might need a little help" you laugh "ok ill help you bubs" so you started helping you bent over to get something and nick just so casually looked at your butt so he reached over and slapped it "NICK" you screamed "what it was sitting right there" he said with a smirk, you rolled your eyes at him you two had finished everything the only thing left was to wipe down the coffee table so you went in the kitchen to get the thing for that as you were getting the things you feel two big arms wrap around your waist of course it was nick you can tell he was really tired because he put his head on your shoulder, nick said "lets go to bed ma" "but baby I have to wipe the table" "do it tomorrow baby I'm tired" "ok" you said "come on baby lets go" you both walked up stairs and nick layed down first and you layed down second he wrapped his arms around your waist and said "love you y/n goodnight ma" "night" you say and you both fell asleep
