🌈 🌹ᏢᏒᎬᏆᏆᎽ ᏢᎪᎥᏁ🌹 When times are tough, when life circumstance can get you down, it can be useful to reframe our wounds (both inner and outer) as something beautiful that can teach us, so that we can transcend to the next level. • I am examining my inner abandonment complex today. There is a deep inner concern that all I pour my heart into might be in vain- that suddenly the work I put into my creations and into people I love will be taken for granted. • In reality, there is nothing to fear. Even if we should have our most precious desires, relationships, or passions ripped away from us, like the floor falling out beneath you, there is something pretty about that fall, that lack. This is the human experience, but in truth, we are never alone or abandoned. We ARE the entirety of the universe, we ARE abundance. I’ve learned many times that when you think you have nothing, it can sometimes be easier to sense that you have (in reality) EVERYTHING. It can be easier to see through the fog and understand the truth of the universe, the simple matter-of-fact infinite connection to all that is. • These wounds drain us but they also sustain us. Identifying too hard with them, though, can also be a trap. So I try to look upon them detached, like this wounded deer woman... to be able to accept what is happening fully in my reality and not fight the pain. Pretty pain... oh it can be such a glorious teacher, if we let it. 🌈 . . . #enlightenmentbarbie #transcendence #detachment #wounds #innerwounds #prettypain #lessons #woundeddeer #wounded #psychedelicart #gilliankeller #goddess #womsn #collage #lifeanddeath (at Mission District, San Francisco)
