Well, that’s upsetting
This title makes the rounds a lot on lists of worst book names, and it really is... just awful. How they thought any message other than INCESTALERT would come through with that picture of a kid, let’s just call her Elektra, trying to escape her oblivious mother and face-hiding father, I simply don’t know.
But hey, I haven’t read this “Catholic guide to parenthood” (even though the author was a Presbyterian minister) and a lot of people on Amazon seem really positive about it, and don’t see anything slightly off about consistently praising the importance of the fatherly love they received from the Fathers of their local Church. Nope, just good, old-fashioned, holy kid-loving.
