Title: Friends Relationships: Bolin/Korra; Bolin & Korra; background Bolin/Opal Rating: G Summary: Bolin visits Korra while she is healing at the South Pole
Enjoy!
atla character most likely to start a harem ?
I was gonna say that Sokka, bcs he was picking up girls (and boys 👀) all across the world. Hut he also feels like the type to see his partner as the most important thing in the world so idk if he could divide his attention like that.
But definitely someone from the Southern Water Tribe, the have like unparalleled rizz. It's superhuman at this point. Hakoda had like Kya, Bato and Malina, right? And Katara could also pull girls and boys if she wanted but she loves Aang too much lol. (Tbh Aang is similar too, he had charisma and is sweet, he could've been a beast in his twenties if he weren't so loyal)
And don't get me STARTED on Korra. She's what, seduced almost every single character in her age range? Cause like:
Bolin with his puppy dog crush
Makorra was canon for two slutty, slutty books
Korrasami is canon rn that's literally all of team Avatar.
Whatever the weird tension with Tahno she had
She immediately gave Opal her sapphic awakening, I think
I count Wing's: "I can't believe I'm sparring with the Avatar 😍" as a little puppy crush too
And whatever the fuck Korra and Kuvira had going on, I think Korra singlehandedly gave both of Suyin's daughters their gay awakening
That's not even counting ships with age gaps, or more obscure and qustionable ships. This girl has chemistry with everyone.
Also polyamory could've solved B1 tbh, Makorrasami should be more of a thing. I love their threeway dynamic and also it would be really funny from Bolin's perspective. He'd literally be this meme:
Angeles borra la cuenta so

Chapter 30
Gerda had expected everything to become fairly normal after Borra’s return. She assumed that perhaps she would be more involved with the fey and their important conversations. Her hopes were short-lived when she realized even though she offered her help he continued to exclude her.
The following days proceeded as if she did not exist. Not only did he coldly ignore her presence during dining hours but she was well aware of the meetings he held with his inner circle. Whenever she questioned Celtra about his change of behavior her response was quick and simple. In a sense, Gerda was relieved knowing his hostility and anger were not focused primarily on her. He was far too distracted by whatever trouble was happening.
One could only imagine her surprise when her presence was unexpectedly requested. She stood frozen in her room staring at Rayne with bafflement.
“What do you mean my presence is requested?” Gerda asked feeling unease in her chest.
“Stop wasting my time and follow me.” Rayne snapped rolling her eyes at Gerda’s question.
It didn’t take Gerda long to recognize the path they took. She was being led to the council room. A part of her grew excited however she felt anxious about facing Borra again.
Her thoughts were put aside once they reached the entrance. She immediately felt timid when they entered the council room with only Borra standing near the round table. His back was facing her with his sweeping wings reminding her how dangerous he was. Her arms prickled with goosebumps as a cold draft skimmed her skin.
She followed Rayne to the table where Borra appeared to be examining a map. Beside the map was a wooden box that glistened in the light. Gerda grew inquisitive when she noticed the length of the box.
“Is there anything else you need?” Rayne asked Borra.
“No you may leave us.” Borra briskly said dismissing her.
Gerda nervously bit her bottom lip when she realized it was going to be just the two of them. She managed to control her heartbeat when the doors noisily shut behind her.
“We’ve come across a new weapon that was recently used on one of my people. I need your knowledge on this.” Borra bluntly stated as if he despised asking for her assistance.
Gerda was instantly piqued by his demand for her help. She had assumed he disregarded her offer given his recent demeanor towards her.
“You’re asking me for my help?” Gerda replied dumbfounded which seemed to irritate him.
He turned to face her with agitation visibly on his face. She felt small under his piercing gaze that bore through her skin.
“Have you suddenly become deaf human or perhaps you’re as daft as the rest of your kind.” Borra rudely stated angering Gerda.
“I did not volunteer my service to be ridiculed and mocked by you. If this is how I will be treated then I withdraw my offer.” Gerda snapped turning to leave no longer being able to endure his cruelty.
She turned to face the direction of the door when Borra’s hand grabbed her by the wrist halting her. He pulled her back to face him with a scowl. Gerda gulped knowing she had no authority to deny his request.
“Who do you think you are to turn your back on me while I am speaking to you human? This is not your castle and you hold no power here.” Borra lowly warned with an enraged frown as his hand gripped her wrist.
“I’m well aware of my circumstances here however we will get nowhere if you continue to berate me in such a manner. We need to be civil with each other at least until my service is no longer needed. I’m not asking for much.” Gerda calmly explained in an even voice gritting her teeth as her wrist began to throb under his grip.
“You’re asking that I speak to you as my equal? Why when I can easily make you do what I want by force.“ Borra threatened with his rigid gaze set on her.
“And how would that benefit you if I decide to mislead you? I am helping you because I choose to. If I don’t then…Celtra may also eventually be pulled into your plight.” Gerda truthfully confessed, seeing the flicker of surprise in his eyes.
“You expect me to believe you care about Celtra after you attempted to wipe our kind out?” Borra scoffed with doubt in his eyes.
Gerda knew he wouldn’t believe her but she was being candid. Celtra had become a friend to her and was the only one of his kind she genuinely cared about.
“My actions towards your people were…heinous. However, I’ve spent enough time amongst your kind that somewhat changed my perspective. So yes I’ve grown accustomed to Celtra’s presence and want her safe. I’m willing to put aside my disparities with you until whatever threat you’re facing is handled.” Gerda calmly explained.
Bora’s eyes narrowly surveyed Gerda with skepticism. She could see that he was thinking over what she said. Finally, after a brief moment, he broke his silence. His grip loosened allowing her to withdraw her aching wrist.
“Fine. I’ll regard you with as much respect as a servant but nothing more. Anything else?” Borra brusquely said with gritted teeth.
“Do you mind showing better control over your anger towards me? It’s too often that you put your hands on me.” Gerda timidly asked cradling her wrist.
Borra’s eyes brushed over her wrist with comprehension. She felt her heart quicken feeling the pressure of his gaze. She despised the way her body reacted around him.
“I’ll consider it however I won’t make any promises. Now enough, I did not request you here to negotiate.” Borra hissed with irritation.
He moved away from her toward the main circular table that consisted of maps and other objects. Gerda observed what she could somewhat in awe at the magic around her. He glanced up and motioned for her to the table. She walked over feeling a wave of nostalgia. It had been a while since she was in a similar position during her time in Ulstead.
Borra reached into the burgundy wooden box pulling out a dagger with a twisted edge. The dagger had a mysterious unusual red glint to it. She took notice of the sizzling sound his skin made as he handled it. He appeared to ignore the obvious pain he must’ve felt as he handed it over to her. She shakily took it ignoring the warmth of his fingers brushing against hers.
“An iron dagger? A poorly designed one I must add.” Gerda scoffed as she swirled the weapon in her hand inspecting it.
“You are correct however this weapon is not what it seems. It infects those with the same monstrosity sickness when used.” Borra informed her causing Gerda to glance up at him with interest.
“So whatever material is used in the sphere bullet must be infused into this dagger. Is this the only one you found?” Gerda asked with a thrill of curiosity sprinting through her.
Borra clenched his jaw with apprehension on his face as he glanced down at a map. Seeing him in a flustered state made her wary of his answer.
“No…it was not. One of my men sacrificed his life to get this one to us. It appears we have some humans who have been working on these weapons creating swords with the same material. This is a problem.” Borra confessed before returning his stern gaze on her.
Gerda gulped at the new information Borra gave her. Her mind wandered over who the unfortunate soul was. She thought of Kai feeling a sense of concern since it had been a while since she had seen him. Of course, she refrained from asking about him. Her reaction must’ve shown on her face.
“This worries you? I’d expect you to take joy in the potential threat to my kind.” Borra asked observing her face.
“As much as we both despise each other I don’t take any joy in this. I’m sure the rebel humans would treat me as equivalent to your people given the proximity I have with you all. Besides…I gave you my word and I would never go back on it. My commitment is all I have left.” Gerda replied noticing interest flash through Borra’s eyes.
She blushed as his heavy gaze studied making her wonder if she said too much. Borra had always been difficult to read and it deeply bothered her.
“Or you could be deceiving me and plotting to betray me when the time comes. I don’t know much about you other than what your actions in the past have been.” Borra said in a low voice.
Gerda sighed placing the dagger down in the center of the table. His eyes followed her movements with caution. She despised how much he clearly distrusted her however it was understandable.
“Look I don’t know what I need to do to gain your trust but I’m genuinely trying to assist you. I know that if we continue this specific conversation it’ll lead to nothing. It would be reasonable if we got back to what you had requested me here for.” Gerda calmly explained glancing at the wrapped bandage on Borra’s chest.
He followed her gaze before glimpsing back at her with confusion. His eyes hardened once again displaying his wariness towards her.
“What?” Borra bluntly asked shifting in defense of his injury.
“Your wound. Where did you get it?” Gerda asked ignoring his developing attitude.
“I was attacked by one of my people once they had turned due to the sphere bullet. Why do you ask?” Borra harshly answered with narrowed eyes.
Gerda needed to further inspect his wound to help understand the strange weapons and ammunition he came across. It was evident he would give her trouble.
“It’s crucial that I take a look at your wound to gain a better understanding of what we’re dealing with.” Gerda nervously informed him.
“Absolutely not.” Borra immediately answered with his wings flickering in disdain at her suggestion.
Gerda shook her head at his stubbornness with her patience running thin. It felt like she was trying to convince a child.
“Can you please not make this any more difficult than it needs to be. Your people’s lives depend on you for goodness' sake.” Gerda vehemently said raising her eyebrows at him.
Borra rolled his eyes and unexpectedly approached her with a rigid jaw. Gerda was startled when his intimidating massive form stood in front of her. She had expected him to refuse her suggestion.
“Will you hurry this up. I’ve squandered enough valuable time with you.” Borra coldly whispered with discomfort evident on his face.
Gerda quickly recollected her composure and glanced up at him with a blank expression. She had forgotten how small she was compared to him.
“I’m going to carefully remove this bandage, let me know if I’m causing you any pain.” Gerda softly said as his golden gaze settled on her.
He lightly nodded his head with a stoic expression though it was obvious they both felt uncomfortable. She focused on his dressing trying to ignore the awkward tension between them. Her hands shyly reached for his bandage.
She carefully peeled back the stained material noting how his body stiffened once her fingers touched his skin. She nearly gasped at the state of his injury. Her fingers gently traced around the surrounding skin causing goosebumps to appear on his chest. His body once again became tense against her touch. She could sense his heavy gaze on her face causing her to feel jittery.
“Have you been keeping this clean? It looks deeply inflamed almost close to a festering wound.” Gerda stated shaking her head with disapproval attempting to ease her nerves.
“Celtra had used her healing abilities on it however this is the best she was able to do.” Borra answered hissing in pain as Gerda’s fingers lightly grazed the wound.
She pressed into the swollen tissue on the rim of his wound causing him to snatch her hand. Her body flinched at his reaction as she quickly peered up at him with wary eyes. He then loosened his grip recalling their agreement on him not hurting her. She was somewhat surprised that he even honored it.
“That is enough. You’re overstepping your boundaries with me.” Borra slowly informed her with a clenched jaw and unreadable expression.
“If I recall you’ve overstepped mine plenty of times.” Gerda sarcastically replied earning a glare from him as his hand slightly tightened around her wrist.
“I said I will consider not hurting you. Do not tempt me.” Borra hissed with his eyes warning her.
“You also said you would be civil with me or do you plan on going against your word on that too?” Gerda managed to reply with her voice stern despite the immense fear she felt.
Borra contemplated her words before releasing her wrist. Gerda sighed in relief as the two of them calmed down. She glanced at his exposed wound.
“I’m done with my observation now I’m going to wrap this back up.” Gerda said with hesitation peeking up at him for permission.
He nodded at her with approval as his agitated eyes reflected down at her. Once again the fragile tension between them formed. She took a deep breath before grabbing the hanging bandage. Her fingers softly adjusted it over his wound before lightly gliding the material to his skin.
She tried to ignore his body heat as it interacted with her frozen finger tips. Borra stiffened from what she assumed was discomfort with her tending to him. It was expected since he was not used to her being in proximity touching him. She blushed trying her best to avoid acknowledging the firm muscle her fingers glided over.
She quickly tightened the wrap wanting to put some space between them. The whole interaction was foreign to her. She almost felt ashamed for how much he made her jittery. How dare she react to him in such a manner.
Once his bandages were secured he quickly backed away from her as if her touch was tainted. She looked away feeling her cheeks grow an uncontrollably deeper shade of red. She cleared her throat once she regained her composure.
“So judging by the healing process of your wound I conclude that the material in these weapons is similar to an illness. Have you spoken to Lickspittle yet? Perhaps he can offer some insight.” Gerda said shifting the uneasy tension in the room.
“Yes. He preferred to see it all for himself so we will be bringing him here as soon as the weather calms.” Borra said piquing Gerda’s attention.
“If you don’t mind I would like to be here when he arrives.” Gerda asked earning a puzzled look from Borra.
“Why? What reason would you need to be around for?” Borra questioned with suspicion in his eyes.
“I believe his knowledge would be valuable for me. I’m also the only one who understands him the best and would know if he is being truthful.” Gerda answered seeing him ponder on her suggestion.
“Fine. It’s getting late, you’re dismissed for now.” Borra curtly said before nodding for her to leave.
Gerda felt relieved as she quickly turned to head towards the door. She was met by Rayne who glared at her before leading the way to Gerda’s room. Her mind was buzzing with everything that had taken place. She had actually managed to get on cordial terms with Borra. She would’ve never thought to achieve such an arrangement with him.
It was clear what she needed to do. Simply bite her tongue and survive even if she had to side with the fey. Humans were no longer an ally and her loyalty to Ulstead had died out long ago. Her chances at surviving were dependent on Borra which she welcomed given the protection she currently has under him.
It was useless to fight against him when she could just join him. At some point, it could lead to her freedom if she plays her cards right. She just had to tolerate Borra until one day they parted ways and she would never have to worry about seeing him again.
