I’m tired of writing you poems.

She had a thick head of hair and heavy bangs that hung in her eyes- curtains, shielding the mysteries inside. Sometimes, she spoke so fast her words ran together and she ran out of breath. And other times, she spoke no words at all and managed to say even more. Her heart was achingly full. She gave her love greatly and freely, unable to feel anything halfway. Certain poems moved her to  tears, and maybe the only time she escaped her own mind was when she danced, enveloped in a musical trance. She wanted to make the world beautiful. A lot of things scared her, but her bravery never departed. “The best way out is always through.” Maybe she was sad, too sad for so young, but she was hopeful. And she was strong.

 So I wrote one for me.
