"You.... did what, now?" He asks, confused. That made no sense whatsover and sounded more like a riddle than an actual thing that happened.
"I may have accidentally locked myself out." she huffed through the phone.
"Yeah, no I got that part. But how are you on the roof?" he pondered aloud. Maybe she had figured she could get in through one one of the unlocked second story... yeah that must be it. She must have gotten into the garage and... no they hadn't finished moving in yet. So how? "Did you bring a ladder wit-"
"No I did not."
He pushed his hat back and scratched his sweaty locks.
"So how did you get on their roof then? Cause if you are locked out and you didn't try to clim-"
"Are you gonna help me out or not?" Oh she sounded pissed. It called to mind how her face would scrunch up and go beet red when she was embarassed. Yup, this was gonna be hilarious. He had to smother his half chuckle before replying.
"Yeah, I'll be over in ten. I gotta find my ladder first."
