What is your favorite scene of your favorite film or game?
What draws you to it?
SPOILERS FOR PREY 2016
The character of Morgan Yu is fascinating in that, fundamentally, you are provided very little information about who you are, as Morgan Yu, but are given an incredibly firm foundation to work with - your brother is a brilliant scientist, your family is a family of brilliant scientists, you are starting a new job at, yes giggle if you like, TranStar, on the satellite Talos 1. I will spare you the full plot synopsis, but suffice to say, distrust is sowed immediately when in the initial phases of the introduction, you are revealed to already be aboard Talos 1, and it is heavily implied quite quickly your brother has been resetting your memory to day you agreed to come work at TranStar, for unknown and possibly sinister reasons.
Talos 1 is under siege by several variants of an alien species named the Typhon - the primary types of importance being the spiderlike (diameter of a dinnerplace, thiccness of a nerf football, too many tendrils) typon known as Typon Cacoplasmus, the often humanoid Typhon Antrhophantasmus, the terrifying and difficult to see Typhon Dysmorpha or poltergeist, The Typhon Technopath, capable of commanding machines and electrical systems, the Typhon Telepath do the telemath, the Typhon Geneocratis or the Weavers who produce a lumenescent, mind altering semi-material substance called coral, and the Typhon Apex...
Typhon Cacoplasmus are little mimics btw. Better check that coffee cup... it hates you.
Through the game you are silently, subtly tested and judged, and in the ending it is revealed...
You are in fact on Talos 1, years after human civilization on Earth was completely subsumed by the Typon, and all humans converted effectively into the Typhon Anthrophantasmus subclass, or worse. Your brother stands before you. He's old. Your friends, and people you saved... They're there too.
People you killed, potentially, as well. It was a simulation, all of it, because you are not Morgan Yu.
You are Typhon Anthrophantasmus, and the entire point was that the Typon do not 'SEE' humans. They do not perceive us, properly, in the same way we theoretically do not perceive them properly. Our brother hoped to create a bridge, between our two species, to put an end to all the death. Us. We are the bridge.
Depending on the number of people you save... or fail to save...
Or kill...
You may be given the option to shake his hand, as a human being, your Typhon Anthrophantasimus form shifting to become near entirely humanoid. If you were a monster, you are there too. There is a secret ending and variation endings but the point is still the same.
You are who you are, and how you act, well...
Prey... Prey is watching. It wants you to succeed.
But it will brutalize you with the cost.
After literally years, I finally managed to watch “Prooi”, a.k.a. “Prey”, a.k.a. “Uncaged”.
It’s ad bad as I’d hoped it’d be.

This just keeps looking better and better, I am all up for a proper Prey reboot. However, I noticed how the footage is very similar to the original X-COM (FPS) trailer. Keep up the good work! Being a big fan of scifi, space, aliens, etc, well this is just right up my alley.
This is Morgan. The year is 2035. Please, listen. This isn't a dream. It's a nightmare.
