“Uuh I thought it was kinda obvious I was pointing to myself as an example. Why would I be interested in that?”

"You don't have that little voice that tells you when something's a bad idea, do you?"
“Nope.”
@preyontheirfear
“You are so lucky!” she whined, all the while rubbing her ear with a finger, “How’d you get it to shut up?”

To most Hades was viewed as a Satanic being, the Devil of Greek Mythology, a God who ruled the Underworld with a furious fist of fire, but that was a typical misconception that like everything else he had an issue with, he blamed on America. When he was alone, Hades was quite nice — to himself — and thus he was very relaxed, listening to music on one of those electronic contraptions Hermes gave him — that being said, he wasn’t aware that despite being alone in the woods that he was unheard.
“Every now and then I fall apart, and I need you now tonight ~ and I need you more than ever ~ and if you only hold me tight ~ we’ll be holding on forever ~ and we’ll only be making it right ~ ‘cause we’ll never be wrong! Together we can take it to the end of the line, your love is like a shadow on me all of the time~” he sang, walking through the woods, trench coat trailing behind. “All of the time~” he sang in a high pitch voice. “I don’t know what to do and I’m always in the dark, we’re living in a powder keg and giving off sparks!” he sang, setting fire to a small plant sticking out of the middle of a puddle. “I really need you tonight! Forever’s gonna start tonight! Forever’s gonna start to—” but he was interrupted.
“What?”
After months and months of experiments and distress Rapunzel had come to a undoubtful conclusion: that here, in the forest, sorrounded by woods centuries and centuries old, was the best place to hide and practice her spells without the curious eyes of people who couldn’t understand that there were forces that they had made sure to forgot a long time ago.
It wasn’t like this had stopped her little manners to helo the people of the village with the little things of everyday. In fact, it musn’t had pass more than two hours since she slipped a charm in the pocket of a girl who was just trying to find the dog she had lost the last day. She couldn’t had stayed to see the result but she hoped the two of them were reunited now and closing her eyes to sleep and to stay away from beings like her, ready to make good use of the night.
And she was about to give a second try to her teleportation spell when a voice made her flinch and stop everything she was doing to make sure she wasn’t caught in the spot by some camper looking for a place to spend the night. The voice started to get closer and closer and she decided to blow out the fire and follow the source of it to make the decision of finding a new place to practice or to go back to her house and let it be for another day.
But while finding him wasn’t a problem, guessing who he was was the problem that made her attempt to get closer.
Just a little
Just enough to---
CRACK.
Oh no. She looked at her feet and discovered a branch she hadn’t saw before and which had revealed her presence to that man that only seemed to be enjoying some time alone, singing a song that, despite the dangerous situation, had been quite nice to hear for a while.
“OH! Uh... I’m--- I-I’m sorry sir! I was just... I was just, uh, what I was doing I just... oh, I was heading back home but I think I got lost! Would you, uh... maybe... know, where... do I have to go? to get to the village?”
Please don’t be a serial killer.
I know how to face one but I really don’t want to. Please.
