This post is for @stuckinapatriarchalbullshitland (she said that her inbox is closed and some of the things that I'll write here concerne her blog, but mostly I want to know what she thinks about this) but everyone who want to chime in is welcomed.
This are my though about what is happening lately in the camren fandom, maybe I'm too rational and cynical about this.
Lauren denied camren... again! So many cs were upset about this, rightfully. But why did she have to talk about Camila after all this years to deny Camren? Wasn't it enough the first one enough? I think that she did that for two reasons and it's all about the timing:
1) LJ1 is coming and I bet what you want that many of her song will be attributable to Camila, I don't think she wants that. From what I see Lauren wants to be appreciated for JUST for her art and doesn't want to gain a profit, of any kind, from Camila (unlike someone else).
2) Shitmila narrative. Obviously the menagement thinks that dening camren would help to sell the narrative. They are so naive. Nobody buys that shit because the pr teams did a shitty job. They rushed everything, I swear it seemed to see the last season of Game of Thrones all over again. Poor job, Tree Paine would be ashamed for you!!!
Lauren said that Camila is heterosexual! Frankly, at first that made me angry, like "how dare you to put her in the closet like that?". Anyway, has it some value? imo if you say that about someone that you have no contact from 2016, it doesn't means anything. It's from her point of view (or better yet this is the narrative point of view). You could even say that you are hetero and then you are coming out someday. Like the wise one said: "everyone is hetero until they are not".
The Celeste anon. So this cs anon tagged the main blogs basically saying to keep quiet because Shitmila needs to sell a narrative and if we don't that will end with a wedding. Obviously there was more than that and at first I even liked their post. Rethinking about it I think it is manipulation at its finest. It reminded me about my middle school teacher. He would tell us that if we didn't stay quiet he would give us an huge assignment. At the end of the lesson he would give us an assignment of 100 exercises, we would remember him that we stayed quiet and he would give us 50. Obviously that was his assignment all along, if we were loud or quiet, but we were happy and quiet in the process. My point is I don't think that if we keep quiet they aren't going to be marry, probably a decision is already made. Personally, I would keep quiet because I think that it's frustating for the girls that when they are talking about their job or about more serious matters, like politics or mental health, many of the comments don't relate to what they are talking about but a ship (whatever It is) or even how beautiful they are.
The 6th of July anon. I don't know why but I trust this anon. They said to be prepared for a wedding or an engagement. I don't like it but between the two possibilities I would prefer a wedding. Probably you'll think that I'm crazy. I don't know anything about this type of contrat but what I know is that Camila is smart and I think that she would agree to do that just if she could gain something that is really important to her, and I'm not talking about money or fame but some sort of Freedom. I'll sound cynical but if you strip the romantic side from a marriage it's a contract between two person and there are more possibilities that when the pr contract expires that they won't be back together in the future, hopefully.
A last thought:
I hope that they are destroying this ship to built one that seems brand new in the future. Maybe I'm not so cynical after all.
