Watched Citizen 4 recently, and its very good, and enlightening, and after watching it you're left thinking okay, so is someone going to jail? These men egregiously violated every human's rights who has ever touched a phone or keyboard over a period of years and we just say "sorry?" Are we even 100 percent sure they aren't still doing it? This isn't just American's either its the entire North and South American Continent, involves all of the major phone/internet providers...Not only making a point to spy on every single communication but ground to a halt several attempts to create communication networks that are "unhooked" from the official providers.
Moreover, where does this information go after its been fished? Who is to say the very people collecting every single phone call, email, tweet, fax and text aren't the very one's using it to blackmail their own people?
The American Government needs a major overhaul either by force or persuasions and if your only answer is "thanks Obama," then you really don't have a fucking clue. Repubocrats are all one party, indivisible, with money enough for everybody but you.
Its your God given right to think whatever the hell you want and tell your friends, family and colleagues how you feel and think without worrying what watch list your being added to because of it. Freedom ends the minute Privacy does because if you can't be sure your thoughts and words aren't being monitored, then you stop sharing them..and then you stop thinking them.

"The federal government apparently isn’t content with remotely watching and recording your every electronic (and real world) movement; it will soon control microdrones that could then be sent surreptitiously into your home. And unless the warrentless eletronic surveillance already being conducted by government-run-amok is brought to a halt, this new form of home invasion will also be warrantless.
DARPA, the military’s research and development arm, has announced its intent to sponsor development of a new category of these tiny monitors.
In a press release soliciting bids for manufacture of the microdrones, DARPA doesn’t define the potential target theatre, but any promise of foreign focus is illusory in a world where the Constitution’s prohibition on warrantless searches is seen as nothing more than a quaint parchment barrier to those determined to keep an eye (and ear) on every person in the world…”
