this isn't stranger things content, but i have a feeling most people here will like this... 🦋
introducing: my pricefield edit that i couldn't post to my youtube no matter what i tried! 😄 (rip quality)
i genuinely tried for an hour to post this video and work around it, but the audio c0nt3nt 1d detection is literally AIRTIGHT. so now i'm posting it here for everyone on tumblr because i have a feeling most of us who ship byler have also shipped pricefield 👀
honestly, posting this in the same month life is strange: reunion is releasing (it's coming so soon!) and the day after we get our casting announcement for the amazon show feels so right. i really hope you all enjoy this because i worked hard on it ♡
if you'd like to see more edits (i've made several stranger things/byler ones!), feel free to go to my youtube and have a look! (linked below)

Pricefield is probably one of my favorite sapphic ships, if not my absolute favorite. Besides Pricefield, this edit is mostly about Max’s trauma and everything she's dealing with, but since it’s June, I might as well admit that it’ll always be Bae over Bay for me.
Not because I think it’s the morally correct choice. If we’re talking pure ethics, saving an entire town is hard to argue against. But Life is Strange has always felt like a deeply personal story first and foremost, a story about Max and Chloe, their bond and everything they go through together. After watching Max fight so hard to save Chloe over and over again, sacrificing her at the very end has always left me feeling empty in a way that doesn’t feel satisfying. For me, it makes so much of their journey feel pointless.
What makes Bae so interesting to me is what comes after. It’s not a kind of ending you see very often and it leaves Max and Chloe with an impossible amount of guilt, grief and trauma to navigate together. I love thinking about how they move forward, how their relationship survives and how they learn to live with the consequences of that choice.
It also has a much larger impact on the wider cast than people sometimes acknowledge. I’ve been reading Steph’s story lately and seeing her struggle with the loss and survivor’s guilt adds another layer that simply wouldn’t exist without the Bae ending. And honestly? I'm a bit worried about the Amazon series. They'll probably pick Bay and then people will suddenly start treating it as undeniable canon because an adaptation chose it. I’ve got nothing against Bay, I played it too, and in some ways it’s arguably the more devastating ending because of how attached you’ve become to Chloe by that point. I completely understand why people choose it. I just think that the Bae ending is more interesting from a narrative perspective.
Anyway, Happy Pride Month. 🌈
HAPPY OCTOBER 11TH!! 📸🦋🌀
I will always love you ★
