So I kinda just came out to my mom’s best friend during lunch and it was an experience????

So basically I made some comment about how there’s no people interested in me and she took that to mean guys so she asked if there were any guys I talked to at school. So I said no but there aren’t any chicks either and she was like well you’re a woman and I got stuck on that. I had her repeat it and I was like why would that matter, I’m pan. She’s just sitting there confused so I turn to my mom and I’m like she probably doesn’t know what that is and she’s like probably not. So I turn back to her and I’m like basically I’m attracted to any gender and she’s just sitting there shook. So my brain is like this will help, tell her you’re asexual as well without giving her time to process. So I literally say “if it helps I’m asexual as well” so she just sat there for like eight minutes trying to process this and I’m laughing cause I thought she knew but I also have a fresh egg roll in my mouth so I’m choking cause I’m laughing but I’m also burning the hell out of my mouth and my mother is just sitting there watching this all go to shit...
