Genuine priest!Ghost, now back to being Simon, having found his way into The Path after a really bad op that lead him right out of the military. Tattooed and scarred as he is, he becomes tangible proof of what the word of God can do to help a man, patient and understanding with every stray soul that finds him and begs for guidance and redemption. The one pastor that can say with a pure heart that he knows how it feels to be a lost sheep, running from the wolves, that can sincerely promise salvation.

Slimy priest!Johnny, born and raised catholic, destined to be a man of the church since before he was even conceived. The best at preaching in mass, yet the most sinful of them all, hypocrisy in the flesh as he revels in being the representation of the Lord on earth. So proud of being the one in charge that he gets a little too comfortable palming his bulge during confessions of carnal sins, so gluttonous for more power that he’ll lead anyone stray, bare them to the beasts, if it means he’ll keep climbing the Church.

Priest!Johnny who insists on only taking your confessions at the rectory, always making up excuses as to why, always managing to get you in his private office alone.

He tuts when you reach for the chair across from his desk, pushing up from his own and rounding the big mahogany table before making a vague gesture in front of him. That’s enough for you to know, moving to kneel in front of him, so worried about your impurities that you don’t notice the the way his eyes rove over your body like a predator about to pounce on it’s pray.

There’s silence for a few seconds, your head held low in shame, hands clasped together on your lap and fingers tangled in a rosary as you sit back on you knees. It’s like an automatic response, as soon as he clears his throat, your head tilts back to look at him.

That’s when Johnny finds himself truly thanking the Lord, for having you like this, looking up at him from under your wet lashes and saying the sweetest «forgive me Father, for I have sinned» he’s ever heard. Equally as grateful for the way his vestments cover up the immediate boner the sigh of you, with a mix of tears and hope in your eyes, silently pleading him for redemption, causes.

Priest!Kyle whose church is always open to new visitors, who is always willing to have a chat with anyone and everyone, who welcomes all those that have been turned away by their own faith. The one to assure his followers that God embraces all, that any discrimination ever pointed at them is far more of a sin than whatever they’ve been made believe about their own existence, that all families (especially found ones) bring light to the soul. «The Lord loves you, made you to His image, with and not despite off your past, your sexuality or gender identity». His masses are always full, his Sunday school filled with children of all backgrounds and family structures. A herd formed through love and kindness, the only rejection in his church, the one of those who believe discrimination has a place in His will.

Vs

Priest!Price who always finds a way to bring up family in his preaching. The one to mention the importance of a joined couple holding strong for the best of their offspring, whose mouth fills with words of a proper family being the only way to raise proper children of God. Proud of a speech that not-so-subtly shames those in different familiar structures, calling them out as sinners yet never in an overt way, just with enough harshness in his voice to point them out as ungodly. The same John that had been twice divorced, that has never taken responsibility of his two sons nor the at least a two more children he has fathered and never recognised as his own, all of them out of the holiness of marriage. The John Price that left his hometown to leave his multiple families, who drove for days up north to make sure anyone that knew him was long gone, and start anew as a man of the Lord.

In case you were wondering, Priest!Simon and Priest!Kyle would, indeed, make out sloppy style were they to meet at some point. Priests do, in fact, not need to take a chastity vote and maybe they can bend a bit the rules around marriage and all that stuff as long as it’s «just» making out… and even if it’s not allowed (or they get a bit carried away, long past just making out), they’ll just confess to each other, pray a few Hail Mary’s and then do it all over again in the confessionary.
