So I’m an old lady

And have a dumb old lady job (not really, the people are really great I’m just sad I can’t spend my whole Friday basking in the new album glory) so I’m gonna have to stick to listening to the album via Apple Music and have my father get me the deluxe CDs while I’m at work.

He has agreed. Because he loves me.

A Brief Rant - Wisdom Teeth and Pain Meds

I got 4 wisdom teeth out and lower jaw surgery (bone fractured and moved forward) on Wednesday. It's been less than 48 hours since I got out of the hospital and I still have huge amounts of pain.

I was prescribed Tylenol 3 to take every 4 hours as long as pain persists, and it's been persisting quite. But every time I ask my mom if I can have some, she goes on a tangent about how they're addicting and either won't let me have them or makes me feel too guilty to take them.

So now I wait at least 6 hours between requests and still get guilt tripped into waiting longer even after I get the pills from her.

I understand that she doesn't want me addicted to codeine, but I'm still in legitimate pain, and I shouldn't feel bad for wanting relief.
