USJ Hell Week/USJ 2014: Recap
This past week was literal Hell. I had a HESC midterm on Tuesday (didn't do so hot.) I had a Stats midterm on Wednesday (went well). Practice ended at 4am or later everyday this past week. Had practice EVERYDAY this past week.
It was brutal. It was hardest on Thursday/Friday, though. I was up from 1pm till 4pm (27 hours) because Hell Week day 4 at Alohi's ended at 5am and it just wasn't worth it to sleep because I had Disney training three hours later. Instead, I ate, showered, got ready. I was wired on coffee LOL Even after that, I only slept for 4 hours after training.
Speaking of training, it was really fun. I got fitted in my costumes and got approved for my characters, got to get closer to my fellow new hires, got a Disney tour. Just got super hyped about the job :)
Woke up at 9 on Saturday morning! Josiah slept over the night before cuz he was carpooling with me and Curtis up to Ontario. Picked up Meilani and Akaisha and drove up to the Ontario Convention Center. No traffic there and parking was a breeze. Yay for great venues haha
I had to do an essay during our lunch break but I was able to bust it out no problem. Did a few run throughs. We almost missed our call time for performing LOLOL
Performance went great. I'll post the vid when its up. Freestyled with PD after. UNFORTUNATELY, my stupid self missed Rogue cuz I was too busy dancing and fooling around LOL
After USJ, PD took over Coconut Bay. Free refills on Thai tea for dayyyyyzzzzz. They were super awesome about having us there. They sat us down really fast and served us no problem :') If only all places were as good with big groups hahah
Overall, my second USJ was really great :) As tiring as this week was, I wouldn't have traded it for anything. Maybe see you again next year, USJ

It's finally over. HHI, and PD is finally over. It's quite surreal in a way to finally be back at home after a weekend of lavish spending (dropping $240ish) on clothes, food, gas, and random other shit. Mostly clothes and food. So much gear I wanted to have and food I did not need to eat but felt obliged to do so since my team was indulging. But hey, I give a lot for this team because I love em, as much as I can't stand them at times. Performing on that stage really did light me up, as the lights, the audience, and the entity of the whole event just suddenly surged itself upon me that whoa, this is for the world. It was definitely ephemeral.
And just like that, it all ended really. From then on it was just good vibes, partying it up, and finally being able to just bond with people. I've never really bonded with my team, as I'm a lone-wolf type of person. It's either I'm lone wolf or alpha wolf, being a stray or wanting to lead. I don't like to be a follower unless the individuals leading know where they're going and the proper way to get there.
Aside from that, the question is now plaguing my mind whether to return and stay for the entire season or not, as time commitments may not allow me to do so. I want to stay for The Bridge competition, yet also want to test my waters in auditioning for Natural St8, TM, and Culture Shock LA. Until I decide though, gotta keep training.
