PRIMROSE BAKERY DECORATING MASTERCLASS

Last Sunday I went to Primrose Bakery in Covent Garden for a decorating cupcakes class. 

First thing we learnt to do was the bakery’s signature icing swirl. This was a lot harder than it looked and lets just say I didn’t master it at all. 

We then learnt how to make a piping bag from one sheet of baking paper. I was better at this and ended up with a really good piping bag. Unfortunately, I cut the end off a bit too much and my writing icing came out a little thick. 

I got to decorate 8 cupcakes. It wasn’t my best decorating but the icing tasted amazing. 

Overall, it was great afternoon and I would recommend this experience. I learnt a lot about icing and ate some really delicious cakes.
