But also a gentle thoughtful loyal precious bun who makes silly faces at kids with a dark sense of humor and laughs and grins only in secret who will LAY DOWN his life for the people he cares for meanwhile being cautious NOT CARING because everyone he has ever loved has been killed/tortured against him including his baby siblings and mother who he left SPECIFICALLY to protect them

Which is why this devoted GEM keeps feelings hidden with a quiet subtle demeanour going from warm comfortable loving to steely unfeeling merciless in less of a SECOND

I never knew how BAD I NEEDED a character like Grey before this book. HE DESEVERES EVERYTHING HIS HEART DESIRES I LOVE HIM SO MUCH
