Belated @look-back-month-challenge Day 2: Color
I don't often take pictures of him but I do love this cutie. Some day I'll decorate his shelf space like the ocean. This hair is new on him, and I'm still trying it out. Not sure I love it, but his old wig was looking a bit well.. old. It was also yarn and I'm just not sure I have the energy to remake it. This works for now.
Please meet their royal highness, Monarch Indigo. They're the Young Monarch of the Shallows Kingdom. (The Nudibranch Xweetok Monarchy don’t really have concepts of he or shes, just They.) Most Drylande folk refer to Indigo as a 'He' and they don't seem to really mind or care, they just like the attention.
They're rather snobby, thinking themselves better and of higher regard than such individuals like the insideous 'Trench Dwellers' and their favorite hobbies is tending to their coral gardens, feeding sea bunnies and essentially preening. They are quite flirtatious despite the fact they have to remain ‘chaste’ until they find someone to arrange a marriage with.
They're also very very short, around possibly 4''6 at best-but they're the kind of person who doesn't seem to notice how short they really are.
Is Indigo naked? Technically. Yes. But most sea creatures uh 'rowdy bits' are kept internal so they can get away with not wearing pants. A no pants society.
Indigo likes the rain mainly since they can go on land and not worry about their body dehydrating; but they can’t get too far out of fear of being too far inland when the rain stops

Viridian is actually a great singer (if you're one of those people who consider your voice as an instrument I guess that makes him know 6 but whatever) but he doesn't like singing in front of others as much as playing since he's been told he's too loud. He'll only sing if he really wants to make an impression or is feeling extra confident (or the latter).
I'm sorry if I butchered Indigo in my style ahahah /crawls away
(also, because I based Viridian somewhat off the Roma people who originated from India, he's singing 500 miles in Gujarati )
