If I had a nickel every time I read a fantasy novel where a prince and a princess are engaged to each other but they’re both in love with the heroine and the story resolves that love triangle with the solution of consensual polyamory, I’d have two nickels. Which is not a lot but it’s interesting that it happened twice.
