can I ask how informed MC was in the whole process? did their parents decide and just tell them one day to sit them down like "ok you're no longer the heir, we're transferring that to your brother cause we gotta send you over to the werewolves next week, good luck and thanks" or did MC get to have a say in the idea (assuming they didn't just throw tantrums and pout the entire time because they were against it overall I guess) cause I feel like this is a massive change for the siblings (especially if brother, as he wasn't the heir, didn't receive the same training or prep work, let alone just mentally prepared for the responsibility of it for himself as well)

Lenora sort of just springs it on the MC as it’s something that occurred very fast and suddenly— she barely had time to properly prepare for the alliance, which means that the MC has even less time. At the start of Chapter One you’re sort of getting dropped into said conversation after the MC has been told (and you’ll hear your brother’s initial reaction too).

However, there will be a small time jump between when the MC is told and when you actually meet Fallon/Sasha (about two weeks). Wherein your MCs can get used to the idea and more plans could be set in stone (some of which will be discussed but other things can be left to HCs).
