For my request, can you write a oneshot featuring Sabo and a woman reader in an Aladdin au please? In the fic, Sabo is a traveling prince who visits the reader in her palace to spend time with her. The fic would involve Sabo hanging out with the princess while she attends her duties with the two growing closer and closer. What do you think?
The visit
Pairings~ Sabo x fem!reader
Hie~ I'm sorry for taking so long to complete your request. I had a such long stuff in mind and wanted to do justice to this idea. Because I felt like it's very cute one. Anyways, thanksie for the request and I hope you'll enjoy it! Also, it took so long 'cause I don't usually write stuff like Aus and all so I don't know if it'll be to your liking.

You stood in the balcony of your quarters, hands planted on the railing, the cold breeze hitting your face. You took in a long inhale, “Why is Father always talking about marriage?”, you exhale deeply. Your father— the Sultan, is always talking about your marriage since you've hit the age of 19 now. You wish he would stop with this, you didn't have thoughts about getting married, for now.
Your pet— tiger— looks at you with big pretty eyes, concerned for you. You pet his head gently, “I'm fine, Rajah”, you murmur but the animal could sense the uneasiness radiating off your form.
Like any other day, it was supposed to be a normal one, however, you heard a knock at your door. “Come in”, you responded turning attention to whatever they might be now. You really didn't have the energy to put with another lecture of your Father at the moment.
One of the maids walked in, mumbling a greeting before speaking, “The princes of Goa kingdom have arrived at the Palace. The Sultan is asking for your presence”, she speaks.
Your immediate and foremost reaction is a frown crumpling on your features, “Princes? And whatever are they here for?”, you question. Your tone under laid with agitation.
“Traveling, it seems”, your frown eased upon hearing this, however, it doesn't necessarily mean that your Father wouldn't transit it into a matrimonial matchmaking. You sigh to yourself dismissing the maid, you had to show yourself in front of the guests, it seems.
You aren't exactly thrilled by the situation, moreover, you feel like the timing is too suspicious to lineup. Entertaining some prince of somewhere wasn't part of your schedule today, with stomping steps towards the hall you walk through the corridors. Indulging with another damn prince? So fucking anno—
Or so you thought, as soon as the door to the hall creaked open, your gaze fell upon the princes of Goa. Three brothers, it seems. Two of them have brunette dark hair, they appeared fine at least. The youngest one with a straw hat on his head, a scar under the left eye of his, big doe eyes, bubbly natured you guess, and he seemed younger than you as well— Luffy.
A sense of relief floats in your chest. Then, your gaze shifts to the ones standing beside him— the older brothers who could possibly ruin your peaceful life. Sabo and Ace.
The oldest one with wavy brunette hair, toned muscles and siren eyes, freckles across his cheeks and a skull shaped necklace dangling from his neck.
And lastly, the middle brother— the one who caught your eye, wavy blonde hair, a burn scar marring to the left side of his face— but it did little to dull his charming features; in fact it enhanced them. Big doe eyes like the little brother, a cheeky smile. Dressed in the most elegant manner out of them three— the most befitting for the term royal.
It was rare to find people with blonde hair so, he obviously caught your eye. The shining blonde on his head is extremely enchanting. You had never seen someone with such a charming hair colour before. How disgustingly beautiful.
You eye him up and down without even realizing, he was enchanting— charming even. Your breath caught in your lungs the first time you saw him, and the second when you heard him mumble a greeting to you, “Greeting, princess y/n”, he cooes. Husky, deep voice, with an underlying playfulness.
He takes your hand, and presses a soft kiss to your knuckles in the most royal and elegant fashion. This was a normal greeting, but still, you found your heart racing and cheeks heating up.
That's the first time a man has caught your eye.
You? Taking liking to a man? Utterly impossible everyone believed including yourself.
However, his looks and voice are too charming to just not care.
The other two princes also greet you, however, your interest and gaze remains on the middle brother.
The oldest brother greets you in the similar fashion as the middle with a sense of eloquence and respect. The youngest one just seems to imitate them which you found cute.
“Let’s have a meal together, shall we?”, the Sultan offers. The youngest one squeals with excitement.

Everyone sat on the dining table, eating and chatting. Unfortunately, Sabo sat beside you during meal.
You end up chatting with him during that time, “We enjoy travelling, you see. It's fun seeing new places!”, he explains with a wide smile.
You return the smile with your own, “That must be fun! You guys gonna travel around here?”
“Yeah”
You exhale from relief, Thank God, they are just here for sightseeing not as a potential marriage candidate for you. You would have left Rajah after them if that was the case, though. Like you have always been doing till now, but, you wonder how long will that even last.
Since, they would be travelling around you wouldn't have to see them often either.
Your gaze catches onto the man’s blonde again, there are shining under light, “You have a unique hair colour. They are pretty”, you couldn't keep yourself from complimenting them. Your eyes kept glancing towards him.
The blonde man smiles, “Really?! Thanks! You're a beautiful lady yourself”, he says.
Though, it was normal compliment and you are used to hearing it. Despite that, your heart flutters, why? Is it because he is good looking? Maybe.
Sabo shares about his and his brothers travelling adventures, his words were a soft murmur, echoing in your ears yet not really too loud. Leaving rest of the people present undistributed by his voice, a long tell tale had unfolded on the table between you and him.
You didn't realize how much you had been enjoying this conversation with me, and how much of a big smile was present on your lips the entire time until your father comments on it, “You both seem to get along well”, his words cut through the air.
Your smile flattered, “Don’t read into it unnecessarily”, you reply with neutral tone. You didn't want to come off as rude to your own father but sometimes, he needs to give it a rest.
And surprisingly, he nods understandably. You exhale and smile softly at the understanding.

Night has fallen, the air has gotten colder, and you are still up reading in the comfort of your quarters. Rajah lays beside you resting, eyes closed.
Suddenly, Rajah gets alerted, ears spiking up, and moves towards the door. You hear a knock on your door, you wonder who could it be at the dread of night. You don't recall calling for anybody either.
You rose from your spot, opening the door halfway you see a familiar blonde head standing in front of you— Sabo.
His cheeky smile present on his lips, “Wanna go out?”, he asks politely.
“Right now?”, you reply eyebrows raising.
“Yeah”
You cross your arms, “It’s midnight”, you grin. Even though, it's not like you mind being out at this time of the night, you have sneaked out plenty of times and it wasn't anything new either, but for some reason, you felt like teasing him.
“Exactly why! Everything looks different at night.”, he says trying to coax you out.
You don't give him a reply immediately, you feign pondering over the matter.
He clears his throat, leaning forward and holds out his hand for you to take, “Would the princess grace me with her presence for a night?”, he invites.
Your cheeks heat up, that's one of the first gentlemanly invite you would have had. Even if you had made acquaintance with many men, princes or people. No one could make your heart race like his words do right now.
“Alright”
You took his hand, and he gave you a wide smile. Your heart shudders, why does he have this effect on you?
Rajah comes out from behind you and stares at Sabo.
Sabo looks at the animal and blinks before it finally registers in his mind, he pulls you behind himself instantly, “Huh?”, you blink in surprise.
“What in the world a tiger is—”
You burst out laughing, and Sabo just stares at you for a moment, “Why are you laughing? It's a tiger!”
Your laughter dies out a bit, but not completely and Sabo just stares at your waiting for you to explain.
Rajah doesn't growl at him or lunge at him which was surprising because he doesn't like anyone coming near you. Instead, he gently licks Sabo and Sabo let's out a muffled curse.
“Because it's my pet”, you finally reply patting the carnivore gently.
Sabo blinks in awe, “What? A tiger? Your pet?”, he asks in disbelief.
You nod, “Mhm yeah. And he hates outsiders but he seems to like you for some reason”
“Unbelievable”, he mutters under his breath.

Guided by him, you both roam around the empty streets of the kingdom which are usually packed with people during the day. The nightly outlook of the kingdom is quite fascinating, streets are lit by the dim light of the moon, and the wind blows gently, a silence fills the place that's usually filled with chaotic and loud voices.
You'd be lying if you said you didn't like it, you adored the calmness that comes with the darkness. You had sneaked out a lot before so you know the endearing comfort it brings.
And then, you remember the place you used to love at the night. You guide him towards the place in your mind— at the tallest building in your kingdom which gives the best view to the place and to the sky.
Upon reaching the place, Sabo gazes the view in awe, “Beautiful”
“Isn’t it??”, you squeak from excitement.
It's the first time you have brought someone here, expect for Rajah though.
He smiles, “Yeah, absolutely”
“I love this place. Now that I think, you're the first person I have brought here”
“It’s an honour”
He leans forward, extending a hand towards you, posing gentlemanly, “Would you like a dance?”, he asks.
His blonde hair shines under the moonlight, he awaits your reply patiently.
You take a breathe in, “Yes”, you accept his invitation for a dance.
Your fingers intertwine with his, one of his hands comes to your waist and your goes to his shoulder. He moves slow, and gracefully without stepping on your feet, most of the princes you have danced with were quite not good at it. But he's surprisingly different.
“You’re quite good at it”, you comment.
His smile widens, “Is that a compliment?”
“Yes, it is. I thought you'd be another man stepping on my feet”, you reply playfully.
He chuckles softly, “Certainly I'm not the one, Luffy and Ace might've though”
You respond with a giggle of your own.
Seeing the gleam in your gaze and happiness plastered over your face, his heart flutters with fluffiness.

Next day,
You weren't the type to volunteer for anything, especially not when it involved princes of other kingdoms. You despised being in the company of foolish princes, unable to meet the intellectual level of your own. However, he is different.
“Father, shall I accompany the princes of Goa kingdom today?”, you ask.
And of course, your father stares at you in confusion. But he doesn't question it, he has seen you getting closer to the Second prince of the Goa kingdom and he shall let it go smooth for you. For the first time, you have shown interest in someone.
“You have the permission”, he replies.
You smile at the approval, “Thank you”
“Is the second prince to your liking?”, he asks before you could leave the premises.
You didn't have a reason to lie or hide the obvious fact, “Yes, he is”
He nods and smiles.

During your outing with the three brothers, you realize how different they were from each other. Or maybe, strolling in the market was a bad idea.
Luffy was fixated on food, crafts had all of Ace’s attention meanwhile Sabo was walkin’ by your side.
“Do you not wish to look at anything?”, you ask.
You are actually invested in knowing what captures his interest however, he seems focused on you rather than anything else.
“I’m looking around though?”, he replies.
“No, I meant like— you see.. uhm, does nothing catches your interest?”, you manage to frame out the sentence.
He smirks, “Yes”
“What does?”, you ask rather interested in knowing.
“You”
A blush creeps up on your cheeks, he is so smooth. Your gaze flickers back to the stalls avoiding to meet his.
“Is something wrong, princess?”, he asks teasingly.
“Nothing! It's just soo hot today”, you pretend to wipe sweat off your forehead and flap your hand to your face.
He lets out a chuckle, “Yeah yeah”
You pout at his response, “Are you laughing at me right now?”
He clears his throat, feign a cough but the smirk on his lips remain, “Not at all. I could never”, he replies.
“No, you definitely were!”, you remain on your ground.
“I shall apologize for the wrong, my princess”, he replies.
Your already flushed cheeks heat up further, “Fine, I shall forgive you if you insist so much.”

Several days go by in the company of the three brothers, they were fun, a bit chaotic but sweet. You and Sabo grew inseparably close, you showed him around various places and he indulged even in political discussions with you very respectfully without looking down on you.
Moreover, his views and opinions matched yours, and you liked the fact that he actually listens to your words and opinions not just pretends to be listen but listens for real and shares his output as well. Unlike other princes you had met, he actually values your words.
“We are leaving tomorrow”, he says.
You heart drops for some reason, you don't wish for him to leave just yet, “Can’t you stay longer?”, you ask.
“I believe we have out stayed out welcome”, he replies with a faint smile.
You look at him with a saddened expression, “Not at all. It's just been a few days”
“It’s been days”, he highlights.
You stare at the ground unsure of what to say, meeting him was one of the best things that has happened to you.
♡♡
Ace facepalms his face, sneaking behind the wall to witness the conversation between Sabo and her.
“He is literally stupid”, he mutters under his breath.
Luffy gobbles on a piece of bread Ace doesn't know where he got from, “What’s taking him so long? Ne, Ace hiding is boring, let's go there”
“Shut up and stay here”, Ace scolds in a low tone.
Luffy clicks his tongue in disappointment, “Sabo hurry up!”
Sabo averts his gaze and hesitates for a moment before drawing in a breathe and speaks, “We will come back sometime later. I loved being here.”
Ace let's out a sigh, “He’s hopeless”
“Do we get in there now?”, Luffy asks impatiently walking off a bit.
Ace grabs him back by the collar, “No! Stay here”, Ace replies.
♡♡
You look at the ground while he talks, avoiding his gaze.
Then, he clears his throat making you look up at him, “Uhm, there's something more I wanted to say”
“Yes, what is it?”, you ask.
He clears his throat once more.
“Is something the matter with your throat? Are you ill?”, you ask.
He shakes his head, “N-no, not at all”
He takes in a deep breath and exhale before continuing,“Princess y/n, I adored the time I spent with you during my stay here. I believe you are as beautiful as your country. And I, my heart made you it's queen, I love you. Will you marry me?”, he expresses in one breath without stopping.
Your heart skips a beat, then beats louder than ever.
You nod, “Yes”
“Finally!!”, Luffy comes out of his hiding spot, and congratulates Sabo. Ace facepalms his face again, “I told you to stay here”, but comes out as well.
You giggle as the brothers unite, “Have you guys been listening?”, Sabo asks.
“I believe you're as beautiful as your country. And i—”, Ace recites teasingly.
Sabo's cheeks flush red as Luffy embraces him, “Fine fine, I got it. Shut up now!”
Laughter fills in the place.
“Why is everyone laughing?”, Luffy asks unaware.
