sometimes the first thing i tell people is how much i like dragon age and ended up getting called variations of “the dragon age girl”

but yeah dragon age trash is better thank u

I was tagged by princebunbuns to make a list of 5 things that make me happy. (I almost didn’t see it & wasn’t really tagged...I just luckily came across it on my feed...I wonder why?)

-My family. Sometimes we bicker & gripe, but at the end of the day, we got each other’s back. We gather to watch scary movies with the lights off & sleep in a pile or, (like today), work our tails off for a cancer fundraiser to help a friends’ mother. They’re childish & complain a lot, but I wouldn’t trade them for the world. 

-My pets. My furry, scaly, & slimy babies always lighten my mood..(even if they did dig ANOTHER grand canyon in the backyard). My dogs are always happy to see me & almost topple me over in their excitement sometimes, so it’s hard to stay mad at them. 

-Social Networking. 10 years ago, I would’ve scoffed & said I didn’t want anything to do with FB or similar sites, but, as my friends drift apart, taking on jobs in other cities or states & becoming too busy to find time to hang out, with social sites I’m still able to maintain a bond across TIME & SPACE! 

-Technology. I can hold up my phone & it automatically translates written words before my very eyes!! I can draw without ever using a drop of ink, paint, or graphite! I can instantly speak to a friend in California & simultaneously watch Free! with her in live time, as if we were in the same room! I can have pizza delivered on my doorstep without ever speaking a word!! What a time to be alive!!!

-Stories. This one’s kinda vague, but I love reading books, comics, & manga as well as watching anime, films, & certain dramas. I love the idea of story-telling across various forms--esp. when tropes are fiddled with or stereotypes are broken in a tasteful manner. Everything from epic tales of heroes & villains to slice of life silliness has me hooked.

princebunbuns tagged me to make a list of 5 things I like about myself. Alrighty, here we go: 

-I like my introverted, quiet nature. It allows me to be more observant whether it’s when I’m outdoors (preventing me from stepping on an underground beehive & spotting a baby bird that fell out of it’s nest) or when I’m with friends (noticing little quirks they have). Plus animals naturally gravitate towards me, & idk what could be better than that!

-I like all the big things about me. My big feet (get all the shoes), my big hands (reach all the keys on the keyboard), my big nose (super smelling has GOT to be some sort of super power), my long legs (make me stand a head over most people around here), & my long arms (all the better to hug you with, my pretty!!).

-I like that I’m a jack of all trades. “I really like ___ thing. Let’s see if I can do it!” has made me learn so much about myself. Studying, baking, martial arts, archery, writing, sewing, crocheting, gardening, doodling, photography, etc. With lots of dabbling, my skill set is ever expanding! (I’m totes gonna be useful in the zombie apocalypse)

-I like that I’m good with my hands & patient. I can thread the tiniest, most annoyingly frayed needle working on a cosplay the night before a con & spend hours building a sturdy archery target. Making things with my own two hands is the best feeling ever. (esp. if I get to share it with someone!) 

-I like that I’m a perfectionist (I’m not 100% happy with what I make or do sometimes, but, at the end of the day, knowing that I get a little better every time I do something is rewarding). If I’m gonna do something, I’m gonna put my ALL into it!

Whew. That’s took longer than I thought it would. I don’t really know who to tag. Um... maybe alexissam, rika-hatsuya, seventh-tense, choliyo, devilpeaches?

1) i look good with any hair color (or all the ones ive done so far!! ive been called a real life anime character by many people, that’s what my weeb heart lives for) 2) my passion for art, no matter how discouraged i get i’ll never give up on it 3) i like my height, i used to want to be taller but im short and adorable!!!! >B) 4) i’m a p good baker!! 5) ahh i love that im finally able to accept myself, my sexuality, it took me a long time but i’ve finally come to not hate myself for it and just accept myself!!

ahaha that was a bit hard, but i feel a bit better about myself B’) you don’t have to do this but i tag dangarangel, hyuukiru, san-likes-ashitaka, poxei!!!
