Dead heat between Irina "would lie cheat and steal at the drop of a hat just to feel in control" Dimakos and Prince "other people are basically my playthings right?" Kairus. BUT while *I* wouldn't consider Kairus an outright villain, he is (structurally) an antagonist so Irina takes the crown on this Q.
It's maybe the most Me™ thing in the whole story that I am constantly throwing these two mfkers against each other at every opportunity and shaking them around like bugs in a jar. They're p much the worst imaginable two people to fall in bed with each other, but uhhhh 👀

Oh, I always feel like I'm complaining about how hard Joanna is to write bc she is just so fundamentally different than me, but I am entering my "u can no longer pick on Joanna, she's your protagonist" era... so Mikah gets this I guess 😭He's entirely too mopey and avoidant all the time, I had planned for him to be much much sluttier lmao. Went and gave the boy a heartbreak backstory, now look at him. He's got anxiety.
A friend read an early draft and the first thing she texted me was "Mikah seems like a little bitch" 💀
