     Mirkwood sucked. She knew that it did before she even came to the dreaded elf kingdom. But there was no choice but to pass through the forests of the land to get where she needed to. It resulted in her being brought into the castle and sat in a hall. "This is so stupid."

*only for this baby Legolas XD* Kili views the Elfling as a little brother that he never had, and in turn is very protective of the lad. Although Legolas may be fully capable of defending himself, the Dwarf will jump in between him and harm’s way at every opportunity.

[just assuming legolas wasn't around for the whole smaug thing] The child's eyes widened and he bounced excitedly around Kili. "Dragon! What was it like? Did you slay it? How big was it?"

[gotcha!] Chuckling at the Elfling’s enthusiasm, Kili spread his hands apart as he described, “He was enormous, scaly, red, and smelled horrible. I wish I could say that I did, but Bard the Bowman had that honor…”
